"Which is it?" Rightwing Doublethink Pt. 1- Illegal Immigrants-

There are also those illegals who come here and take a perfectly fine job - a bartender or landscaper maybe - and maybe they pay taxes where they can't get cash.The fact remains they have taken a fairly desirable job away from a citizen. Same with all the shovelers and road workers - they get paid good money. And don't give out that racist crap that somehow Mexicans are better workers. They are cheaper workers, and they drive down the standard pay for jobs they take.

There are plenty of jobs in Mexico. These people aren't coming here to survive. We entice them here because we pay better for shoveling dirt than Mexico does.

 

He sounds like a creep who cheats his workers... and so hires illegals because they can't fight back.
How is this good to encourage?

 

It was a mistake made by Reps and Dems alike but, I'm glad to say, it was not made by me. Who could not have foreseen that "free trade" was NOT going to demolish our manufacturing base? And who could not have foreseen that eventually all those lost jobs were going to lead to big segments of America not being able to afford even Walmart products?
