When Trump turned to his AM radio and got spooked by Rush Limpballs, he betrayed McConnell.

And McConnell is the one man that stands between Trump and the abyss.

Now that McConnell has announced that he will not move a measure that doesn't have Trump's public approval, the ball is in Trump's court

And since Trump publicly owned the shutdown, and the new Democratic Congress just voted to approve what Trump originally agreed to, all Pelosi and Schumer need to do is sit back and wait on Trump.

That's one problem taht Trump gave himself.

The other is that NONE of the players in this sordid and largely pointless melodrama trust Trump one bit, and not one of them will take him at his word.

And that's what McConnell said, for all intents and purposes.

And everyone should be paying attention to that fact.

Because Mitch McConnell is the one man whose word can get Donald Trump removed from office.

Internal polling is now showing a 56% NATIONAL approval to allocate funding to build the wall.

The whole issue is about allocating at least some money for the wall. Trump knows that the courts can't contest the use of the DOD money allocated for Syria if that mission is formally completed.

The Dems know darn well that 51% of the active border agents are Hispanic.
And 3 out of the group who appeared with Trump were Hispanic.

The ferocity of this attack shows how poorly the Dem's talking points are doing in trying to convince people that 5 billion dollars is a waste of money when Congress just increased the proposed foreign aid budget by 12 billion dollars.

 

And someone who would prefer to pay an illegal about 40 dollars a day when a US citizen would cost them about 80 dollars a day for the same amount of work.
