It's alright, soon the United States dollar will die along with its world reserve currency status and then we'll all be equally poor living in squalor.

Soon all that money people own is going to be worth a whole lot less anyways, party on! Let's party like it is 1929 all over again!

They have rampant homelessness and poverty also, minus turds in the street probably.

It's obvious that capitalism doesn't work; we are over 30 trillion in debt and no end in sight and it's not just because of the social programs in this country either.

A fiscally responsible and regulatory form of social capitalism can work, crony capitalism however does not and eventually will destroy any nation from the inside out.

What we have in the United States is unregulated crony capitalism without hardly any oversight at all on a massive scale.

Government should be cut to the bone. End corporate welfare, and cut our entitlements in half.

They have more of a problem with that than San Fran, if you can believe it. Reason: Their sewer systems are usually inadequate to deal with heavy rain, so they overflow and leave raw sewage in the streets. Then the heat returns and dries everything into dust followed by winds that blow it all over and into food (street food) and into people as they breathe.

It is a huge problem in Mexico.

You can start by eliminating most funding for military and ICE; that alone will save untold trillions of dollars over time.

Many consider it more than decent. After a visit to Havana in 2014, the director-general of the World Health Organization Margaret Chan called for other countries to follow Cuba’s example in health care. Years before, the World Health Organization’s ranking of countries with “the fairest mechanism for health-system finance” put Cuba first among Latin American and Caribbean countries (and far ahead of the United States).
Cuba has long had a nearly identical life expectancy to the United States, despite widespread poverty. The humanitarian-physician Paul Farmer notes in his book Pathologies of Power that there’s a saying in Cuba: “We live like poor people, but we die like rich people.” Farmer also notes that the rate of infant mortality in Cuba has been lower than in the Boston neighborhood of his own prestigious hospital, Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s.

All of this despite Cuba spending just $813 per person annually on health care compared with America’s $9,403.

In Cuba, health care is protected under the constitution as a fundamental human right. As a poor country, Cuba can’t afford to equivocate and waste money upholding that. This pressure seems to have created efficiency. Instead of pouring money into advanced medical technology, the system is forced to keep people healthy.

The system requires around twice as many primary-care doctors per capita as we have in the U.S., made possible because the country also invested in medical education, creating in 1998 what U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called “the world’s most advanced medical school.” Cuba has become known for training not just domestic doctors, but those from around the world—and sending its doctors to help other, wealthier countries when needed. During the recent Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone, more than 100 Cuban doctors and nurses were at the front lines.

As Salim Lamrani of Paris-Sorbonne University put it, excellent health care can exist in the absence of wealth “if political will exists to put human beings at the center of the project.”

ICE is an investment. It saves us money in the long run.

Yes, we can cut the military.

The US could really benefit from socialism. With 1 out of 3 Americans overweight, starvation may just do us some good!

Yeah idiot BUSH obsessing on getting Saddam Hussein put us 10 trillion then Obama came along with his failure Obamacare and other entitlements got us to 21 trillion and growing because we keep taking in more illegals who add to the deficit 115 billion a year after they pay their paltry taxes of 18 billion. And because there are thousands more heading our way in caravan after caravan, that's going to keep going up...not down. Especially if the socialists get in office who are pushing medicare and other freebies that will take the current deficit to 55+ trillion which will totally bankrupt the country turning the US into Venezuelaville.

Oh yeah...I like that idea...since liberals love socialism so much, they would love it there. And I think I speak for all US patriots when I say, the US will be more than happy to pay all their moving costs too!

Just think libs, a beautiful tropical paradise to starve in. And since it doesn't get cold there, you could all live together in cardboard boxes like one big not so happy family singing kumbaya on the street!

I believe most libs want the Nordic model, and not total socialism.

You'll note those countries all have higher QOLs than USA.

Why move to Venezuela when I can live here and help to convert the US to socialism?

You left out the part about Trump further deepening the debt by another 1.4 trillion based on his tax cuts for the rich.
