I wonder how many Americans are offended and it Walmart will pull anything with rainbow colors from their shelves ?

 

The one thing Jefferson was fearful of was the powers of the court, since the judges aren't elected and are there for life. Well here it is, they are legislating from the bench and making laws, rather than just defining them. Also isn't this superseding the power of the States?

Also isn't a democracy supposed to be majority rule? Why wasn't a referendum held?

So what do we have congress for? Not that it matters, they wouldn't dare go against the powers that be anyway.

the Constitution protects all of our rights, just because your upset that included same gender couples doesn't mean the Constitution was not being enforced by the SC as designed

the SC then makes sure those laws are applied to everyone equally.....

 

it's scary that a man like that is on the SC, one that thinks the Constitution of the United states is not there to protect the equal rights of all Americans equally

the reason we have 9 justices is in the hopes that there will only at most be a couple bad apples in the SC like that

What's terrifying is that there are three Chief Justices who legislate from the bench, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan. And if the face of Ginsburg doesn't give you nightmares at night.

If these three wanted to legislate and write laws they should have ran for Congress.

Same with Obama, if he wanted to legislate instead of upholding the Constitution and enforcing the laws of the nation, he should have stayed in the Senate. But he didn't do much legislating in the Senate did he ?

WE did not chose Barack Obama. The Right had absolutely nothing to do with that collective decision by the Left. Leftists and radical leftists chose a nation hating leftist radical for the presidency and then clueless independent voters helped put the slime ball into the Oval Office twice. No, the modern western democracy is just a fraud.

The owners of the media are not elected, but they have the power to brainwash the voters. And the voters are only needed before the election. After the election the elected person has to obey the orders of people that promoted him.

In the USA they have a legalized bribery, you bribe the candidates before the elections, and then the elected person has to obey you, for example, he has to appoint judges that are clients of people who pay for the elections.

In Europe the bribery is not as obvious, as in the USA, but the results are the same.

There is even a derisive term for the "voters" in Germany: Stimmvieh!

Well, in the USA normal healthy people (who are still the majority) are demonized by an unelected tiny minority, who promote unhealthy habits and who are a threat to the children of healthy American citizens.

In fact, the interests of the majority of healthy Americans is not represented by their government.
The Russians have a government that represents the interests of the majority of healthy Russians.

Do you really believe that the majority of Americans are happier than the majority of Russians?
