I certainly did not state that no action would be taken by the people, by Congress or by the Judiciary. In fact, the permanent employees of the Executive branch have opportunity. Remember that our military can and does object to Trump statements, that the EPA can publish work before it is deleted by bureaucrats, etc.

Trump's repeated lies and blunders are not a "style".

There has not been anything of value produced so far. All we've found is that he has no international business skills (such as he claimed), no domestic business leadership skills (as he alienates those here), no skills in bringing America together (as he repeatedly dumps on immigrants and non-whites while making the alt-right hate groups happy), and has show no leadership on health care (repeatedly flipping between everything from destroying what families depend on today up to stating his direction is coverage for all).

Oh, I know. The leftist brainwashing is well underway. It's just a matter of time until they demand Washington off our quarters and dollar bills. Most whites won't put up with that. It's going to get really ugly.

What Nationalists are *******s. Conservatism has nothing to do with them and rejects them.

    (1) They have a 1st Amendment Right to Rally
    (2) We used to ignore these scumbags and they crawled back in their little hole. What changed?
    (3) They are a tiny fragment of the nation's population, and now Leftists have everyone believing they are some major force.

I think you have not been listening to me

Sure some southerners were motivated by slavery and said so

But they did not speak for the majority of the men who served under the Stars and Bars

Slavery would never have mattered to them enough to fight and die for it

Are you a flaming lib who loves the status quo in Washington?

    I'm not

Which is why I'm for trump

Trump can do many things that moderates and libertarians and blue collar democrats want if they are not too damn subborn to work with him

without white nationalists the President would be hillary clinton, as the pandering to them shows.

Confederate emblems were never a problem until the progressives starting ******** in their pants about them. They're responsible for this uprising and push back being currently received. The statues aren't hurting anyone and there are many descendants of the Confederacy that find pride in these statues and have never hurt anyone or showed aggression because of these statues. Removing them is just a way for the progressives to erase a little more history.

History is still taught in the schools........ Somewhat.....

Not unless the rallies aren't peaceful. It needs to be strongly enforced that ANYONE from ANY group of protesters/ralliers will be immediately dealt with if the slightest thing gets out of hand.

I'm willing to compromise and put them in, say, a Confederacy museum. I can understand why non-whites would feel it difficult to see statues of Confederate generals who fought to keep blacks enslaved. Now, I wouldn't, but I'm not black.

    The majority can remove them

But it is not good for America to do so

That stage should have been set 3 years ago in Ferguson.

Why not leave them where they are?

    The reason is hate

Blacks and liberal whites hate the descendents of the Confederate soldiers and want to make them eat a lttle crow

Tearing others down makes liberals feel bigger

Black Americans have a higher chance of being struck by lightning than killed by the KKK.

The left's hatred of Trump and linking anything relative to racism to him. Now these people are spectacles to the left. The left has given them more attention than they've ever had and they're taking full advantage of it. Of course, they'll blame everyone but themselves for it.

Look at it like this. To black people, the Confederacy represents organized military that attempted to keep them enslaved, and had killed them by the hundreds and thousands over the years. Now, if you were to put up a bunch of statues in Germany that were of, say, Hitler or SS solders in the name of 'historical preservation' on public grounds, you could understand why Jews would not be happy with that. If we put up statues of Osama bin Laden in NYC under the same logic you're defending keeping up Confederate statues, you'd be outraged.
