Oh just stop, willya, Overthrows involve tanks and soldiers, mass arrests and cover ups. They typically END investigations and ongoing court procedures. Overthrows are almost always military takeovers of the legitimate government and WHO is in charge of the military now?

What is being done now, and you're going to be apoplectic on hearing this but listen all the way through, is an attempt to see Justice done, and this should be justice either against Trump or FOR him. This investigation, once it's over and IF it is not tainted by Trump's own attempts to quash it, should CLEAR Trump of wrongdoing

Indeed, that has been its task from the beginning to see Justice done, and to CLEAR Trump if he is, in fact, an innocent man.

So PLEASE answer this, IF Trump is indeed innocent, as he and his supporters never tire of claiming, then WHY is he so against this investigation? Why hasn't he WELCOMED it?

IMO his present actions have been tantamount to a confession, but that is just my opinion.

Just what in hell is this "deep state" conservatives are always going on about? AFAICT it's some sort of undefinable conspiracy in charge of all you dislike, the newest incarnation, at least on this board, of your beloved "Cultural Marxism"

If you don't see that kind of thing as third world banana republic bovine waste then I don't know what you would.

When Trump was first elected I, like most liberals, was profoundly shocked and even distressed. Within the first week, however, I heard what Tom Hanks had said about it ; "I hope he governs so well that I will vote for him in 2020". I thought that was good attitude to take and resolved to do so, to hope that Trump would grow within the office, to become a better man than he had seemed in the campaign. That does happen, frequently with judges but sometimes with pols.

A week later I was back to distressed, that was when Trump made up his phantom voters

I ask all of you Trump supporters, and enjoin you to be honest. Has he seemed to rise to the office he now occupies, or is he not now a good deal WORSE than his campaign made him seem?
