It's funny... Black people represent 13% of the total population but they've represented 100% of Obama's AG picks. I wonder what the statistics are for his other picks for positions of power. Who thinks he keeps it comparable to the total population?

I'm going to go with no.....

If you read how Obama is not on speaking terms with the Democrats in the House, Senate or electoral committees... my impression is that Obama has gone full Michael Jackson on us and will only trust a liberal black person to run interference for him. He's vetted the candidates along these lines and has found someone with a chip on their shoulder.

That isn't how it works. The Presidency has certain plenary powers. The House
has the power of the purse.
    However there is still such a thing as Advise and Consent like the movie {1962}
Which can put a limit on Presidential appointments.Since the huge victory on
Tuesday the Republicans now have full subpoena power. They can pretty much decide
who and how to issue subpoenas.

It has been mentioned but only scant attention.Chris Matthews every once in a
blue moon makes mention of the fact that Obama really doesn't have any
Politician friends.Just his inner circle clique of advisers and such.
Now more than ever Obama needs to act like Reagan did.Reagan was
actually friends with Tip O'Neil { Matthews worked for Tip once } as they
talked and fought over political comprimises.Obama doesn't do any of that.
To an almost un-American degree. It's ALL Obama's way or the Highway.
I don't even know if Harry Reid can reach Obama.
Scuttlebutt has it that Reid and Schumer were really ticked that this WH
was refusing to release private PAC funds { a few million} for certain Democrat
races. That Obama was being difficult and refusing to listen to Reid about
    those funds being used.

Rumor has it that the common denominator is AL SHARPTON. You know he has been buddy-buddy with Obama recently. Big Al and Loretta had a tete-a-tete a few weeks ago and then barely 2 days after the election, Sharpton and Obama have a tete-a-tete , and lo and behold, the next day(yesterday), Obama announces Loretta as his pick. Coincidence----I think not! Sharpton has been crowing about her nomination. Exactly WHO has the president' sear and this much influence?? This is very scary...

Blacks are 13% of the total population. What % are top CEOs of big corporations?

Right, but you attack blacks who don't fall in lock step with those whom you posted above.

Could that be because I don't have anything good to say about them.

My problem is not so much with their conservatism as it is with their attitude toward black people in general.

    So then obviously you disagree when James Clyburn { Democrat Asst. Minority leader }
roundly criticized { in a mocking tone } Tim Scott for Not { Voting his Race [color] } :
" If you call progress electing a person with the pigmentation he has,who votes
against the interests and aspirations of 95% of the black people in South Carolina,
    then I guess that's progress " -- Clyburn

Would you advise any demographic to vote only for those that favor their gender/race??? At the National Level, we're presumed to be voting for those concerned for the entire population, intending to "protect and defend" our Constitution.

To the thread; Can you imagine, at this point in time, any elected official voting against any black woman, regardless who that person is...I suspect Obama/Holder/Rice/Michelle/Jarrett want Holder's policies defended, Ms. Lynch will certainly do that and be confirmed IMO either by this Congress or the next. From my little research, there is not much to disqualify her, other than her loyalty to Holder, who will need some protection after leaving office.

Well what do we have here.As reported by WorldNetDaily as early as
last August Lynch was heard pledging to do " even More " as far as Eric
    Holder's agenda.
Lynch lauded at that August legal convention Holder's creation of - Racial
Disparities Working Group - which she said was aimed at identifying
policies that result in " unwanted disparities within criminal justice
and to eliminate those disparities as quickly as possible. "
Hmm ya don't say. Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery Inteeeeeeeeeerestink
That means more clout for activist rabal-rouser like Al Sharpton to
Protest and Make Demands using the banner word ... JUSTICE
Because as we know ... that's all he wanted in the Trayvon/Zimmerman
fiasco. He was just seeking Justice. Folks you're being stooged.

She is also a big fan of fighting Voter ID. If nominated she would undoubtedly
continue on with Holder's aggressive fight to demonize and besmirch any state
    that decided on Voter ID.
Project Veritas just made a huge difference Tuesday. The National media
ignored James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas but many local TV stations
and newspapers covered his work showcasing actual Voter Fraud in Video.
That helped to reduce the public's possible willingness to try and cheat this
election. By exposing Vote Fraud and letting the public know that they May be
caught in the act,it discouraged vote fraud attempts.

Is that why black folks have been voting for white folks since 1965.

So in other words, she sounds like the right woman for the job.

Can't say they're 13%. You would have to figure out what % of the total QUALIFIED candidates to become CEO's of Fortune 500 companies are black and then determine if they're properly represented.

I'd be willing to bet big money that less than 13% of the total QUALIFIED CEO candidates are black... and they're probably represented properly given their qualified candidates.

Let's just look back at those attorneys general chosen by republicans over the past, shall we, and marvel at how they were all chosen for their legal prosecutorial talent and expertise, and NOT their political prowess.

Richard Nixon: John Mitchell. Political hack. municipal bond lawyer. Nixon campaign manager. Not one minute as a prosecutor. (and, by the way, the only USAG to ever serve time behind bars)

Ron Reagan: Ed Meese. Two years clerking for a DA. Never actually served as a district attorney at any level. Worked in Reagan's California administration as his COS... then, Attorney general.

George W. Bush: John Ashcroft. Old John did have some time as Missouri AG, but he was certainly best known for his stint as a governor and a senator - and quite the vocalist.

Lorretta Lynch has as much if not more qualifications to be USAG as any of those three, and certainly WAY more than the first two.
