Why are the COVID-19 spikes in Florida and Texas getting attention but not California?

I said no such thing. I gave cough as the most common way. You can transmit it by... talking. But it's even less likely that you'll get enough of the virus for the next person. Not impossible. But less likely. Sneezing could also transmit it. Directly or by sneezing or coughing in your hands... or even... sticking their hand in their mouth,... and then touching a surface, but sneezing is not a typical symptom of Covid 19.. coughing IS..Or maybe they could lick the handle. Or kissing... The fact is that the virus is transmitted through saliva droplets.

I state again. Cuomo made mistakes because his was the first state that was hard-hit. That was at a time when nobody knew how to deal with the virus. We didn't know if wearing masks was a good thing or not. There was very little to no help on this from the federal government on this. Doctors didn't know how to treat this while the idiot in chief was ordering research resources on his hydorxychloroquine idiocy.

Now we know much more. Now we know more about how the virus is transmitted. We know that people wearing masks is vital to solving this. We know that social distancing, not packing people in close spaces, not allowing large conglomerations, shutting down businesses where it is not possible to do this... is what works. We know much more. So what is DeSantis' excuse? A simple "he doesn't have one" will suffice.

So what? What is your point? You have a study that says that by infecting less than 10% of the population T cell immunity will produce herd immunity by exposure? All articles I have read only indicate Antibodies. But if you have a study or.... anything that hints that herd immunity through T-cell immunity not produced by vaccination,, provide your references in the appropriate thread and stop throwing smokescreens in this discussion.

You also made other claims in that paragraph that are false. You said the virus would degrade overnight. That’s patently false. NY subway cars are primarily plastic, stainless steel, and glass. They are climate controlled so virus in cars could last up to 5 days. Of course if you researched your claims for referencing you would know this. LOL.You truly are in way over your head.

Cuomo sent cases to nursing homes. Wrong decision at the same time 45 other states made the correct choice. Cuomo waited 2 months longer to disinfect transport than other states. You can claim it isn’t important all you want and post links about poop on doorknobs, but because science tells us it’s important NY is now doing it along with every other state and country. You claiming it isn’t important and then posting a link detailing what NY is doing now is one of the most self defeating arguments I’ve ever seen.

Yet governors not named Cuomo made correct decisions with the same information. Cuomo facilitated hudroxychloroqine trials in NY.

This virus can remain viable on glass up to 5 days. Two to three days on the plastic and steel of subway cars. I don’t care about what you think “degraded” means, all I care about is the facts. A few hours overnight does virtually nothing to this virus on these surfaces.

Think back to the Spring when NY was going through hell. NY got way more coverage than you guys are getting..
