The reason, the Republican Party is still the smaller of the two major parties, hence, they must win the independent vote for lose the election. Independents don’t like Trump much and 2022 proved they don’t like his chosen candidates either. Independents gave Trump a 38% favorable vs. 58% unfavorable. Trump can’t attract independents to vote for him or for his chosen candidates as 2022 proved. The Republican Party’s very poor performance this midterms lies directly on Trump’s shoulders.

Fake News. The GOP won the midterms by over 3 million votes and have a larger margin than the Dems did after 2020 despite supposedly winning the presidency.

Reverend Slumlord as a sitting senator has a the 95% chance of reelection that all sitting Senators enjoy, but, Hershel is putting up one hell of a fight.

Walker currently leads by 4,205 votes with 73% of the vote counted.
