And what purpose would it serve? You made a statement to the effect that Africans didn't "invent clean water" or roads and that was my way of trashing a ridiculous idea.
Navigation goes by the wayside very quickly. Virtually all of it comes from Western Europe as does all maritime methods. - - - Updated - - - Not likely considering the dynastic implications of their political system.
Navigation was a Muslim invention.. Look up Kamal.. That's why the Vikings and even Christopher Columbus used Arab navigators.
Hardly. The Vikings were isolated from the Muslims till very late in their history and is completely false. Western nautical navigation systems are totally their own. Many of the so called inventions of Muslims weren't from Muslims but from non-Muslim individuals who lived in their territory. For instance Arabic numerals are most likely from India. Columbus was his own navigator and had the reputation to back it up. Totally untrue. There was not and would not have been a Muslim on his ships.
Well, if we needed any further evidence that humans are pathetic tribalists who will use the thinnest of rationalizations to yell,"go team," and are basically stuck in the emotional equivalent of the 7th grade, the creation of this thread should put all doubts to rest.
This is "moving the goal-posts." The OP said that black inventors were a part of fabricated history, but there are so many inventors linked in this thread to counter the claim. I can do this. Here is a link to black inventors and some corresponding patents to demonstrate that yes, there were/are many black inventors: https://webfiles.uci.edu/mcbrown/display/inventor_list.html Burden satisfied AFAIC. I just seen some of those coin images and frankly, they could be of a man's. Probably Marc's. If it really is of her, then she really wasn't black lol.
There's no reason to fake the images and they are what they are. Most of the Black inventions or scientific discoveries are either attempts at improvements upon an existing invention, an exaggeration or a complete falsehood. For a seminal invention or discovery there is simply nothing. It's like saying Blacks invented beer because they like to drink 40's. For something like the compass, the aircraft, submarine, ship, radio, printing press there is ZIP. Same for scientific discoveries.
we know the complete ancestry of Cleopatra. no Africans whatsoever. all Greeks. here, meet the ancient Ptolemies:
Don't bother Ron, they'll tell you that the Ptolemaic dynasty dating back to the time of Alexander was faked by Whites and that Alexander was not only Black but invented break dancing while conquering a big chunk of real estate.
Cleopatra was certainly NOT black. No evidence whatsoever for it. yes there have been black inventors but many claims in black History Month are nonsense. Black people did not invent Ice Cream nor half the crap claimed
I waiting for a black Invention not some slight improvement or variation Take a tiny group of people..the Scots who I am descended from on my mothers side They invented TV, The telephone, The pneumatic Tyre, Macadamised roads,Radar, Logarythmic tables, The refrigerator, penniciilin. Not a slight variation on a theme. the greatest Black invention appears to be mashing up peanuts
If this is so, I mean if there is evidence for it, then it tells about the university system in some parts of the US. I wonder where it's going on?
I have a Brother who is half Russian. How does that prove I have any Russian blood(which I don't) The skull in question MAY be from Arsinoe but no one is sure There is No evidence whatsoever that she was black its just an invention by black activists. These 'reconstructions' are not based on any skull. JUst pure speculation. Its like a very stupid reconstruction of how Jesus looked based on a random skull found from the period. Pointless - - - Updated - - - Yes there were black pahroahs from Nubia who were not related in anyway to CleoptraX philiopater
You're saying certainly when it is not really certain: I'm not sure of the claims made in Black History Month. I myself just started delving into Black History. Still, there is enough Black contributions to trash the claims made in the OP.
there is no such thing as an "African" skeleton. all humans have the same basic skeletal structure. you cannot simply look at a skeleton and tell someone's geographic ancestry with any certainty
Arabs used the Kamal for measuring latitude... and they may have gotten from India.. Columbus's navigator was Muslim and there is an extensive journal about Muslims and Vikings. I think you can find it here in the archives : Vikings in the West.
Vikings in the East http://www.politicalforum.com/history-past-politicians/207553-vikings-east-normans.html
You have no idea who I am or what I might have or have not created. How does that prove that black people have been major inventors?
I know exactly what you are. Just wondering why somebody who has done nothing for humanity takes the time to create a thread to denigrate an entire race for not living up to standards he himself has not met?
pseu·do·sci·enceˌ/so͞odōˈsīəns/ a collection of beliefs or practices mistakenly regarded as being based on scientific method. As I explained about Haplogroup E1b1b in an older thread on this topic, up to 35% of modern Greeks belong to this African haplogroup, and ancient Greeks were more genetically akin to North Africans.
