    You're right. . . . Trump is a NOVELTY; but his motivation is the expectation of admiration and worship from the masses.

    Constructive change is good; change borne out of spite is generally disruptive.

    Yes. Trump will let pence screwup America.

    That will leave small-hands free to romp around the White House with Ivanka and Vlad.

    So, even in a Republican administration, Republican obstructivism will continue to be a problem???

    Trump has a good escape route for his upcoming failures, eh? He knows his supporters like you will blame all of his failures on everyone but him.

    You, along with most on the left, make the mistake of evaluating Trump on old school definitions of "presidential". You know, giving flowery speeches that sound good (even if unintelligible), but mean absolutely nothing. Saying the "right thing" in press conferences, but going back to their protective cocoons and accomplishing absolutely nothing.

    People are sick and tired of that cycle. Yes, Trump is a buffoon who who exaggerates and stretches the truth with many of his comments. But if he produces, who cares?? We've suffered through the alternative. At least in the recent past, it didn't work. Kick him to the curb if he bombs over the next 4 years. In the mean time, the whining is old. Really old.

    If his party does what they were elected to do then there will be no failure. If, however, the usual band of prima dona 'moderates' obstruct, then the job becomes harder. Maybe we need to recruit a sitting dem or so.

    It won't matter. In every way, they're both horrible.

    Well, we'll soon see if Pence is gonna be running the country or not.

    Think there's gonna be a Trump thank you tour yet again for his swearing in?

    Trump is neither a narcissist nor a fool. Trump is a megalomaniac. He wants to take over the world;

    And he closer to actually doing just that than any man who's ever existed

    So I think the idea that he's going to quit now is not only silly but dangerous.

    The problem isn't that Trump will step down in 6 mos, the problem may very well be that President-for-Life Trump will only hand off the reins to little Barry when he abdicates in 20 years
