You specifically said, workers, blacks and hispanics for your party. Since you specifically mentioned race and ethnicity, how are you not excluding the others? Otherwise, why would you have mentioned blacks and hispanics?

I've noticed this before, but when you start a thread with some hot new idea of yours, it doesn't seem well thought out and as soon as someone tries to figure out what you're talking about, you get defensive. I think this must have popped in your head and you immediately started a thread about it without any consideration.

Well, Mike I have talked about this elsewhere in the thread. Why don't you read what I have said, and then if you have a question we can talk about it. I'm not being defensive, its just redundant to repeat the same thing over and over.

Do you feel that young adults should not ever have to experience an alteration in response from the community regardless of where they go or what they do? You feel they should be entitled not to have to experience the reality of life in a metropolis? Because young males hanging about public parks late at night are generally considered to be potentially troublesome .. based on you know, reality.

Where would you like to pause reality? Gangs of apparently unemployed young males loitering around outside girls' elementary schools at 3pm? Where does personal responsibility start, for you? At age 45?

Most blacks and 3/4 of Hispanics already identify with the Democratic party.

But the Democratic party threw the workers under the bus during the 1990's.

The Democrats and Republicans are like the old woman in the shoe when it comes to workers, blacks, and Hispanics.

    There was an old woman
    Who lived in a shoe
    She had so many children
She didn't know what to do
    She gave them some broth
    Without any bread
And spanked them all soundly and put them to bed!!

    :roflol::roflol::roflol:

I bet some white woman came up with that one! Some broth without any bread!!! :roflol::roflol::roflol:

A black chick would have been like, you better hurry up and get through with that broth, so I can kick your a$$ and put you in that damn bed!! :roflol::roflol::roflol:

I think splitting the left into two parties would be a fantastic idea.

Asians are into their own set of identity politics. They are off the radar so no one messes with them.

Thank you very much for the statistic. That is how I like to discuss. When you say something that may be of doubt and I ask for back up, I like it very much when those with whom I am discussing will back up their claims.

That said, although it may be that much has been spent on education, still the amount is insufficient. Teachers are not paid enough, should be trained better, and there should be more of them. Not only that, but these days a college education has become practically indispensable for someone to make living wages. As such, the cost of getting such an education has become ridiculous. Either more spending should be done in that area, or the cost should be lowered by force if necessary.

To me its not a matter of left or right. I think that is part of the problem. Left or right means that you are supposed to believe whatever Democrats or Republicans tell you. Then they get upset or confused when you don't agree.

Well crank, I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I really do because you are being honest, and when people do that it helps me to understand the situation and develop my thinking. That said, I think it is interesting that you would see the possible motivation for my friend's treatment to be that they were looking for someone who fit his general description. Actually, in an indirect way, you are right. They were looking for someone who fit his general description. However, what they look for, in general when they see a Hispanic person, is someone who could be here illegally. In other words, the simple fact of being Hispanic makes you a suspect for being here illegally. I don't know how you feel about that, but if that is fine to you, we just have two different opinions, because as far as I am concerned, that is not acceptable.

Furthermore I would feel different about the whole matter of discrimination in general if it were only a few isolated incidents. But my experience is time and time again, I am dealing with racial discrimination, even to this very day. Here's something that happened a couple of weeks ago, right here in this forum.

    http://politicalforum.com/index.php...ag-blacks-down.525374/page-23#post-1068658597

The thing is this crank, this is the type of nonsense that black folks have to put up with all the time. Now perhaps to you and your black husband and his friends, its no big deal. But I just don't see it that way. Its just like rain happens. There is no avoiding it. However an intelligent person doesn't just let the rain fall on him. He will do something about it, such as obtaining and using an umbrella. That's my position. You don't just sit in the rain and say, "Oh well rain happens", and let it fall on you. You do something about it. In the case of discrimination, the first thing that you need to do is recognize that it does happen, and when it does you should not be afraid to point it out, and speak out against it.

No they don't. I have given an example to demonstrate why this is the case.

The EITC is the only tax expenditure which has been proven to increase worker productivity and help get people out of poverty.

But you go ahead and parrot what you are told to parrot by your propaganda masters.

Yep. Something like that. You know its a shame to, because if it were not for that, he would be a ok guy. These people refuse to see how they cause people to form these distorted views and take responsibility for it.

The problem isn't parties. The problem is us. We get the politicians we deserve.

We have stopped coming up with superior ideas, and spend all our days attacking the other guy's ideas instead.

If you want to win power, then convince the American people you have a better idea AND STAND BY IT.

Well I certainly agree we get the politicians we deserve. However, there are many different reasons for that, the foremost of which is that our education system is deficient. We are simply not training people to think properly.

That said, do you have any ideas about how to obtain a platform on which you can reach many people with your ideas, without having to spend an extraordinary amount of money?
