scares me was a weird choice of words, concerns me would be more appropriate, but while I think it is dumb to call police, anymore, it is better to let the police handle it, cause handling it yourself could cause issues too

the real issue here is that people think calling the police put the girl in danger... that is the real issue... the police need to improve their image, be better

calling the police should not put a child in danger, but in this day and age, it really could

when I was little, the adult prob would have came out of the house screaming what are you doing to my trees, but times have changed, people call the cops now as they do not want to risk a confrontation with people that might go viral

I remember this apple tree on my walk home from school in 2nd grade, the tree was right next to the sidewalk, I climbed it a little, got an apple, the lady came out of the house screaming and I ran, she scared the heck out of me - freaked me out so much I took another block to get home from then on. and still remember it to this day

Why did you say earlier that she was looking for butterflies. She wasn't was she. She was spraying trees in the neighborhood...which is weird behavior to someone not realizing...for some reason...that she was spraying for lantern bugs. This white guy had the nerve to report something strange going on his neighborhood and to some he's a racist..because the person acting strange was black.. The people demonizing him are the racists...because if he were black or the girl was white this would be a non-story. This type of demonizing ---hurts people. It's hurtful and wrong.

I assume you can read what they posted? It was claimed that he said(and this is with quotes mind you) “she scares me”. Then proceeded to say he was quoting directly. As you bolded, that isn’t a direct quote at all.
