Funny how that worked. All those old Democrats who instituted Jim Crow and rode with the KKK are either dead or Republicans. Of course, the words "dead" and "Republican" are redundant.

No. Just Democrats, period. Even your party's heroes like the Kennedys were against civil rights. JFK voted against Republican president Dwight D. Eisenhower's Civil Rights Act of 1957.
