Jesus is God the Son, God the Father and the Holy Spirit were still at the helm when God the Son died for those 3 days and so that's why the universe didn't fall into chaos. It was still in good hands under control.

There is every good reason to worship the God entity. Your eternal fate depends on whether you believe/not believe.

Then what exactly is the purpose of Hell? And of course they would be cussing and hating God, it would be him putting them there to be tortured for all of eternity.

For all I know, he never made such a payment. I wasn't there, nor were the Gospel writers. And I don't consider his crucifixion to be much of a sacrifice, you act like Jesus was the only person to ever be tortured. He suffered for a day and then got to live in Heaven for the rest of eternity in bliss. How is that a sacrifice?

 

You are wrong it is only a theory that humans and apes share the same ancestor and actual present evidence proof that humans and apes are distant apart from evolving from one another. Just like Charles Darwin did not believe that humans evolve from apes, on this count I must agree with him.

 

Please post the number of years that passed between the resurrection and Christianity.

 

Sorry, DNA evidence pretty much proves that you're wrong. We have 98% of the same DNA as chimps.

The great flood came and went, the nine plagues hit Egypt as predicted, Moses led the Hebrews to the promise land as it was written, the nation of Israel was born, the fall and destruction of Jerusalem as predicted came and gone, the coming of the Messiah has been fulfilled, the resurrection of Jesus Christ happen as Jesus Christ said it would.

In you finite mind it appears to be an uneven system. How do you know that all philanthropists are not child molesters, murderers and rapists?

What makes you think that most child molesters, murderers and rapists go to heaven? I would be more inclined to believe that most of them go to hell it just depends as I explain further.

Look one thing you have to get engrained in your finite mind, is that we are all sinners, every single one of us including philanthropists, clergy, politicians, judges, doctors, lawyers...everyone! We all have broken the commandments of God.

The child molester (a sinner) who comes to God, repents his sins, is very sorry for his actions, asks for forgiveness, accepts Jesus Christ and turns away from his old sinful past, according to Scripture will be forgiven for their sins.

The philanthropist (sinner) who does not believe in God, never repents his sins, is not sorry for his actions, never asks for forgiveness, never accepts Jesus Christ and does not turn away from whatever sins he/she habitually commits, according to Scripture will not be forgiven for their sins.

 

We also have the same internal organs, skeletal structure, 98% same DNA dose not make apes humans or humans apes because that 2% is what separate humans from apes that 2% is the different ancestors.

Just like what the Bible said, God created humans in his image. The first homo sapien did not evolve or came from the ape-primates that is why up to now for million of years the ape-primates have not evolve to become intelligent creatures in fact they have remain the same for million of years because if those ape did evolve from homo sapien ancestors they would have already evolve to become equal to humans. Homo sapiens were distinctly created by God to take charge of the earth this include managing the apes.

 

No he is saying it proves beyond any doubt we come from a common ancestor. As with every single creature on earth that also evolves, we branched off. Its not confusing at all even for most 6 yr olds but anyways....draw a large capital Y on a piece of paper. Put humans on one side at the top and apes on the other side at the top, then, write common ancestor at the bottom. Then stare at it for a long time.

No, God didn't create us with a sinful nature. It was because of the original sin committed by our first parents for disobeying what God told them not to do.

So in essence our sin nature was inherited by our first parents which passes on down through our hereditary genetic blood line.

Imagine if they had only obeyed Him...we can only wonder!

 

What was he doing telling them what to do and what not to do in the first place? Why not just leave people alone and let them lives their lives? Were they his play things? Toys for his amusement? Pets?
I guess Adam and Eve didnt like to be bossed around by a religios fanatic either.
You ever notice religious fanatics like to use words like "Obey"? Sounds like the guys who wrote the bible knew all about passive subliminal messaging.

When God fights evil, He is not resorting to evil in the sense that it is evil for Him when He justifiably punishes evil. If there is no evil, then there will be no punishments...simple as that!

God punishes this evil so as to wake people up to learn lessons making them realize that evil brings about justifiable punishments. This lesson makes them turn away from their disobedience and back to their obedience where they should always be.

 

Ummm if someone refuses to accept the holy spirit will they be eternally punished? Sounds like punishment to me when no evil act has been committed.

How can God be a puppet? A puppet to who? God is the supreme being, He answers to no one, He is sovereign over the entire universe. He owns it because He is the Creator!

But on the other hand if He made us with infinite wisdom and benevolent like Him that would mean God would have to create a world where we have to do His will, but it would be a creation devoid of love.

In other words, if the world were such that we had to do God’s will, it would be nothing more than a puppet show God was putting on for Himself. And how could God love a puppet?

So God gave us free will to choose to believe in Him, to love Him, or to not believe in Him and not love Him.

And we see this free will being displayed daily on this thread. God sees who believes and loves Him and who doesn't believe and doesn't love Him.

Isn't it pretty obvious, if they obeyed him, no one else would ever need to have been born. A&E would still be alone in the garden.

Every 6 Year old knows very well that their parents, grand parents, great great grand parents or great x thousand grand parents are not apes.

As I said, you have to disagree with Charles Darwin not me, in fact even kids knows that humans are not apes. At the same time I have no problem if you insist that you and your ancestors are apes, I guess this is another reason why we can't agree there exist a huge none communication.

Interestingly, the only reason there were nine plagues against Egypt wasn't because Pharoah was hard, but because God hardened his heart. That is not disputable as it is written in Exodus. Pharoah was prepared to let the Hebrews go several times until God hardened his heart.
Why do you think God wanted these plagues to befall Egypt? Why did he want to bring this misery to those people, when He did not have to to achieve His goal of freeing His chosen people?
