No, it isn't. Moral relativism suggests that 'right and wrong' can vary. I am implying that there may be issues with the definition of 'normal.' Different things. As it happens, I believe in right and wrong. Now, can you answer the questions? What is 'normal?' What makes one thing normal, while another is not?
One definition of normal has always been, " That which is accepted by the majority", I've never liked that definition for obvious reasons. Majority opinion of course fluctuates. So if the majority of the population was homosexual or interracially married that would be considered normal. So in some instances the term unnatural or against nature is more fitting.
I miss the good ole days of Italians, French, British and Germans all hating and killing each other. Much simpler times when white people mostly hated other white people and didn't want to mix with them.
No....I do not. I also understand your understanding of genetics may be lacking. That said, why would one care about something as ephemeral as race in the context of the timeframes required to remove one from the gene pool....hundreds of years would cause very little change in anything but the individual family.
Wow... I can't believe this thread actually exists... I need to check my my calendar and make sure it's not 1962... "Validate interracial marriage"... Bwahahahahaha!!! What ignorance...
I congratulate you on your ability to be on this board as long as you have, and still retain the ability to be surprised by any 'old-fashioned' expression of racism. But the fact is, racism is newborn every day.
No. In the grand scheme of things, it seems trivial to me. If huam beings are attracted across races and procreate across races then it is part of human evolution.
Not surprised... Just trying to muster up as much sarcasm in my response as would be permissable... Any more than that, and who knows what I'd say...lol
Except FOR racism....why would anybody be concerned if people 300 years from now no longer LOOK like they are from Europe???
Interracial marriage is already valid...Haha! And maybe the commercial is just trying to promote spelling their product correctly People who oppose it ARE racists.
Some of you folks are reading waaaaaaay too much into a commercial. It was a cute kid who did a cute thing. Yes there are interracial families in the US. No big deal one way or the other.
The white man thinks he can have all the white women, but Dr. King's dream has been fulfilled. The white women belong to us now. We don't need no cheerios to tell us so.
Wow there's a lot of censorship in this thread-lol. As for the topic. I have no problem with interracial breeding. The more interracial breeding the healthier the progeny that results. The more genetic variability there is within an individual the less likely they are to suffer from genetic disorders. For example, pure bred dogs have many more health problems than mutts. I'd rather my children were healthy than looked more like me, even though I'm one gosh dang good looking scandinavian badass.
