Benghazi: A Desperate GOP Attack

CNN broke it earlier that the CIA is polygraphing the survivors as frequently as once a month. If there was nothing to see here, why would they do that?

To me it indicates they were likely facilitating or actively cooperating in getting heavy arms to Libyan Rebels, maybe even from Iran like in the 1990's with the KLA. I simply can't see how they wouldn't know Al Queda there. Panetta was Clinton's White House Chief of Staff from July 17, 1994 – January 20, 1997 while the Clinton administrations active cooperation in arms shipments from Iran to the Bin Laden Backed Kosovo Liberation Army.

Who know maybe this was Panetta and Mrs. Clinton's turn, but it took a hard left turn and hit the guard rail resulting in 4 dead Americans. That really wouldn't look good on anyone's resume for President would it.

 

Two points that I'm sure you know (but continue to ignore anyway): One, our consulate had been bombed twice within a few months of the third fatal attack and while other agencies (the British consulate and Red Cross) closed their doors and moved out of Benghazi due to Ansar al-Sharia, and despite the fact that Ambassador Stevens asked for more security, none was ever forthcoming.
Two, even though the attack was being observed and sent back to the White House in real time NO aid was sent and NO attempts to rescue our
people by the White House was ever made! This is despite the fact that the attack lasted for hours!

These are facts! Not that you care.

This preliminary report was always a lie, the White House knew absolutely within a few hours of the attack who pulled it off (Ansar al-Sharia) and suggesting that a blatant lie served as a preliminary report (when everyone at the top knew damned well better) is utter bull crap.

It was never a "preliminary report". It was a lie to cover up an embarrassing unpleasant fact....Al Qaeda was NOT on the run. I wish you people could step outside your own delusional bubble to see how absurd your arguments are.

It was a lie. A lie that was quietly dropped when it became apparent no one was buying such bull.

I'd venture to say that Obama can stonewall until his time in office runs out (he controls the press and the Attorney General) and the Obama regime still hasn't made a single move to bring any of Ansar al-Sharia to justice, even though they have taken credit for the attack.

The last thing in the world Obama wants is for this story to go on. Arresting terrorists would only put a spotlight on the lies and failures of Obama in Libya. And no, I would rather not discuss the IRS with you. There is nothing to be gained from arguing with apologists and revisionist zombies.

 

Folks like you never cease to amaze me. You can rant, you can accuse, make a claim, consider something as fact, whatever. But at the end of the day, and all the hate/ accuse/ facts you claim you have, aren't worth two cents. And do you know why? Because they've already read your memo. And guess what? As of today, your memo is all balogna because your memo has already been debunked, even though you yourself believe it has not. Everything you claim to be the gospel in this investigation is no longer legit. So, when I say you never cease to amaze me, it's because you speak about this, as if you are the actual investigator, and have all the answers. You people want this so bad to fall on Obama, that you actually believe you are the one doing the investigation. And yet these claims you make don't mean a thing. It must be tough being you, who hates someone so much, so as to believe your own garbage, that has already been dismissed as relevant in this investigation.

No, I just went to the actual CNN story, and not the spin from the right trash blog.

I'm not at all surprised that the CIA is trying to conceal the extent of its involvement in the Benghazi "consolate".

It isn't exactly a secret that the location that terrorists attacked was not a consolate at all, but rather a CIA station (which does not enjoy diplomatic status). This has been so widely reported in the international press that it's recieved wisdom by now.

That the CIA was involved was obvious within days, as a food fight broke out between CIA and State, which manifested itself in the debate over the talking points.

Of course in the hyper partisan US right wing media, this reality was ignored while the righties worked diligently to insinuate that the whole disaster was caused by Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, or both.

The CNN story does not support the hysterical claims that have been coming out of right trash media over these last few months.

What it does say, is that the CIA has been leaning on its own people in order to cover up what was obviously an operational and intelligence disaster within their own agency.

The timely revalation of David Petraeus' extra marital career was no accident!

Except for the drastic leap in logic that the CIA needs the State Department to conduct covert ops. This was a State Dept deal that went very bad, and the CIA was called in to mop up. The CIA did not ask Clinton to send them an ambassador with a skeleton crew unprotected to drop into the middle of their dirty op. That's stupid. You aren't stupid.

The "consulate" was not a "consulate", it was a diplomatic mission, and the embassy of the ambassador follows HIM, it is not affixed solely to a designation of real estate.

Petraeus was given the opportunity to step down not because he was (*)(*)(*)(*)ing her, but telling her national secrets.

 

The supposed "threat to families" by the Obama administration:

"In exclusive communications obtained by CNN, one insider writes, “You don’t jeopardize yourself, you jeopardize your family as well.”

No one is saying there were any threats to family members.
