Blame solves NOTHING. Perhaps that's why we have an entire country full of idiots voting for the same corporate preened and chosen candidates attempting to lay blame on nothing but a letter of the alphabet.

Leave it to Racist Rand to waste taxpayers money like this. The law suit will be thrown out. Plus where was all the outrage when Bush started this crap oh yeah the Rightwing loved it. I'll agree Obama should have stopped it the first day in office. Then again the right would have said he isn't protecting America like Bush did which is the biggest (*)(*)(*)(*)ing joke in the world

Leave it to either Rand Paul or Ted Cruz to grandstand.

I wonder why Bush wasn't sued for doing exactly the same thing. Could it be that there is hypocrisy from the right? :icon_jawdrop:

Rand Paul was elected to office in 2010, almost two years after Bush had left office, so I'm not sure what your point is.

    Sounds like wishful thinking.

Another Bush reference? Rand Paul wasn't even in office when Bush was President, and Edward Snowden had not yet blown the whistle on the massive surveillance program that is at the center of Paul's lawsuit.

So when the SCOTUS rules in favor of the Obama administration what will the Kentucky dummy do then?

Yet another Bush reference! Clearly the marching orders have been issued to the Obama supporters: DEFLECT!

Please explain how Rand Paul was supposed to initiate this lawsuit in 2006 when Snowden had not yet released the classified documents that proved these programs actually existed? I guess Rand Paul (was not even elected yet) was supposed to go to the Supreme Court with a USA Today article? Is that what you're suggesting?

Why don't you try actually addressing the substance of his suit instead of desperately trying to deflect blame from the chosen one? Maybe start holding him accountable for all the lies and spying instead of constantly trying to change the subject to Bush.

Is that what you're hoping for, that the SCOTUS rules in favor of Obama?

Seems like the Obama loyalists want to take us back into a time machine when blaming Bush for everything in the world was still acceptable to most Americans. I'm not sure how well that will go over now that we're five years into Obama's Presidency. It's also worth noting that when Bush was President, Edward Snowden had not released the documentation proving these programs actually existed. Apparently, Rand Paul was supposed to sue the NSA and Bush over a program that was classified top secret at the time, years before he was elected to the Senate. The bizarre tactics of the Obama loyalist are seldom hindered by things like logic and evidence. This time is no different.

Anything to deflect away from the fact that they went on for eight year screaming how Bush was Hitler, then only to turn around and help elect a guy that's just like Bush. Apparently being hypocrites and partisan hacks is more important than the fact that our government is collecting massive amounts of data on American citizens.

If he had been a good doctor he would still be doing it. One thing is for sure, he's a crappy Congress Critter. The Kentucky dummies need to dump him or they will be stuck in the year 1814 as long as he's in Congress.

I'm fully aware that Rand Paul is just another politician, but this really is some daring move.

The whole thing is a set-up so that the SCOTUS will do just that. Americans love a police state and the powers that be want to make sure that we are #1 when it comes to that. It has to do with our history as a slave owning country and over a century of rigid racist laws. A lot of people loved that system and fought like heck to keep it. That's one reason why any law or practice that restricts freedom and liberty is warmly embraced by so many people. They love having their feet on other people's necks.

You can blame both Bush and Obama. What you can't do, is excuse either one by pointing the finger elsewhere.

Racist seems to be your favorite word as you use it often when it makes zero sense.
