Could you supply me with those statistics, please? (Preferably, from some neutral source.)

It is because the welfare system lets Uncle Sam be Baby Daddy/Bread-Winner. The collapse of the family structure, the marginalization of churches in the black community in favor of the DNC, nd the hopelessness of having to stay in poverty to prevent falling off the ever steepening economic cliff perpetuated by democratic policies that concentrate poverty and all the ills that go with it.

 

The super high crime rate and destruction of the black family is a direct result of leftist manipulation, welfare and the war on poverty. This was done to lend credibility and purpose to a party without either. It was also a convenient way for con-men like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to enlarge themselves. But let's not ignore black Americans themselves who were more than willing to hop in bed with this criminal conspiracy, and sell their votes. White Dems should be ashamed of themselves. But they don't care....never did. They are after all the party of white racists. Now caught in bed with their slaves. sheesh!

Most black folks are law-abiding citizens and do as everyone else just try and maintain and earn a living in this country.

As someone who grew up having could of benefited from welfare but whose parents chose not to sign up for it, your statement is proof that I do know what I am talking about. This is what your Zen Buddhobama calls a "teachable moment", but why waste the energy on a lost cause.....

Yes they could have and still can. I know two-parent homes that did and do receive welfare benefits like food stamps. The only food stamps we ever had cost us money--they were called "hunting licenses".

I don't know what "conservatives" said. That one can get more benefits if they are unmarried or have more children is a flaw in the system that creates a feedback loop in poverty by encouraging and reinforcing bad habits and choices. The poverty rate for married blacks is only slightly higher than it is for married whites (8% v. 5% IIRC) so the observational illusion may be the basis for that impression, not the eligibility rules.

 

Sounds like you need to educate your conservative buddies on welfare and its requirements.

 

It is obviously mostly about economics. Lower classes of any race are more likely to commit crimes. Additionally and historically some Blacks were prosecuted for crimes they didn't commit. There were the planting of evidence. As Blacks come out of poverty the rates of crime go significantly down.

you may have benefited from it, but need, did you really? did your parents both have jobs? grow up in a house or an apartment... I have met many a people that 'think' they were poor only to find they were middle class and thought they were poor....

The problem is not black people. The problem is the mentality of "We can do whatever we want and no one can stop us" that blacks (And whites, to a lesser extent) have developed.

 

Ok, so lemme get this straight, you're saying Black folk got the "rape gene" from their slaveholder ancestors. Is this something you just pulled outta thin air or can you cite a genetic or ancestral study showing a link between black rapists and their white slave holder ancestors?

I've challenged anyone to name a country in which these statistics are not true and for any country anyone can name and reliable statistics can be gathered it has always held true.

 

I will point out also, although likely doesn't make a point one way or another, that in watching the show "the first 48" that 9 out of 10 stories if not more show black on black violent crimes. I find episodes showing whites or Hispanics to be almost non-existent compared to blacks. I guess some of it may be that this show covers large inner cities like Miami or Cleveland or even Dallas where I would guess a large majority would be blacks?
