George Washington should receive almost God-like status when ranking the Presidents. When looking at Obama, Richard Nixion comes off looking like a saint.
The Obama is the worlds first president of America. Now the world is voting itself gifts from our treasury and The Obama is happy to give them whatever.
The Historians rate William Henry Harrison, Milard Filmore, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan and Andrew Johnson as the five worst presidents. Being I wasn't around then, I take the historians word for it. From what I read about them, I understand why they would say these are the bottom five of all U.S. presidents. So I do agree with the Historians. Now the worst president's I have personally experienced, I was born right after WWII would be in the order they served, Ford, Carter, Bush the second and Obama. I would rate Nixon on top of those four.
William Henry Harrison. He delivered his inaugural address on a cold and rainy day without a coat or hat. He subsequently got pneumonia and died a month later.
That's why he's rated so low, but that isn't a really good metric to determine that he was one of the worst Presidents. Did he actually wreck the country in that month? I don't think so.
Worst: #1 Nobama - allowed Putin to start USSR II. Fed the potential start of WW III in the Middle East. Created race tension the likes that have not been seen since the Civil War. Put USA into an extra $8 trillion in debt; probably more like $10 trillion to $12 trillion by the time he leaves office and by the time we dismantle Nobamacare. #2 Carter - He and Z-Big betray the Shah, and within a month of the Ayatollah getting back to Iran there were 100K dead and our embassy became hostage. His policies in USA sucked - there was 20% interest on mortgages, and you had to wait 2 hours for gas for your car (if you were even lucky enough to have the right license plate number to even get gas tht day). #3 Kennedy. Betrayed the CIA and got them killed in Cuba. Funded the coup that caused the execution of Ngo Dinh Diem and escalated Vietnam to the point that there was no turning back. #4 Nixon. Watergate. Biggest criminal of 10 generations. Nuff said. #5 Herbert Hoover - caused the great depression with his pro-labor stance. Production and prices were cut in half. Foreign trade was cut by three quarters. Unemployment went up 600%. Dow dropped 70% in 2 days. That depression lasted like 10 years.
Lincoln was the deadliest by far for Americans. His successor Johnson gets a bum wrap; he was just in the way of a lot of thieves who needed him out of the way. The Supreme Court was the most corrupt Court in American history as well, packed by Lincoln.
But after six years of Obama, Nixon doesn't seem like a crook that much. I'll go with Obama as the worse President for America but the best President for Islam and the gun and ammunition manufactures and gun shops in America. Seven years in a roll, Obama has been awarded the best gun salesman in America.
As usual about this [I've expressed the same opinion in an other thread] I'm going to be unpopular in US ... As for my opinion, Bill Clinton has been the worse President of the United States ever. Great person, nice guy, no doubt, but his economical policy has been the background for the financial bubble which, exploding, generated the tremendous crisis from which we are exiting in these years. Moreover, after that Reagan had defeated the Soviet Union, after that Bush Senior had closed the Cold War and defeated Saddam in Kuwait granting stability to Middle East ... President Clinton didn't take advantage from these evolutions and the geopolitical strategy of the United States was not able to avoid the war in the Balkans and the development of Al Qaeda. A very nice guy, really popular ... but not a good President, not at all.
That is the point!!! If Bush is going to be included everything is clear as he does not have any competition challenge! The poll is without an absolute winner
Dear all, Please note that G. W. Bush is not included in the poll list for the very reason as he is in advance an absolute winner!
Actually according to you he is included. You said in the first post you can vote your choice. So please tally up the Bush votes in YOUR poll and tell us the %. You need more than 12 posts currently of people only voting once. Thats more than half of all posts currently. Id count them but its your poll and therefore your job not mine. Please tally them.
William Henry Harrison certainly should not be ranked since he was only office a month before dying. Reasonably you shouldn't rank Garfield or Taylor either given less than two years in office before death.
