    but also tradition is adopted and changed and that adoption could have nothing to to with bloodlines.

    Converts, someone converted the converts and I never heard of a case in History where the new members completely overrun the older ones and their bloodline.

    i dont care what you are, you can call yourself whatever you like, i know who the lineal descendants of Israel are, thanks.
    sure someone converted the converts that is a circular argument. still doesnt make any of them a lineal descendant.

    Israel was destroyed by Ashur, Babylon conquered Judea and Jerusalem because the ppl tried to revolt together with Egypt and some other weak nations. = God was angry....

    It was a long time ago I honestly can't remember, assuming the Judeans were punished by God, wasn't it also said a day will come and the ppl will be re-united ?, the idea of redemption is what escorted the Judeans throu all those years even after the last destruction by the Romans.

    I'm not that spiritual to be honest, IMO God (if exists) doesn't spend that much time thinking about us as we would like him to, IMO the Bible is an historic record tainted with lots of politics to appease, rouse or sedate the ppl of its relative time.

    But you are spiritual, so assuming they were punished, what now ? how can you tell an Israelite ?

    And the separate European and Eastern Jewish communities got nothing to do with the scattered Judeans ? how do you suppose those communities formed and at what era ?
