When you say "you would be allowed to live in it", who, in the absence of a state, would have the authority to allow or deny me living in my house? Anyone? Everyone?

You're not listening. Here let me clear it up : I'm one of those dangerous legalize Marijuana millenials. Ive been arrested for it, gotten differed probation etc. I finished my degree anyway and now im in law school for the 2nd year where i excel. Im for constiturional carry, drug legalization amd taxation, dont have a problem with gay marriage, hate obamacare, own firearms, smoke weed (though i havent since about april. Not in the budget you see) hold down a job at a firm, pay taxes, into social security that ill never see because its a ponzi scheme, detest most politicians, voted for ron paul, intend to vote for rand paul, and i (*)(*)(*)(*)ing hate donald trump. Its also medically proven that both thc and cbd among other chemicals found in Marijuana have numerous medical uses, most promising is cbd does all kinds of useful things depending on how they're applying it, scientists in tel aviv recently discovered it can help bones grow back from breaks faster and stronger, it can also be used to halt intractable epilepsy. Though thc will induce death in cancer cells (autophagy) if injected directly into the cancerous tissue, which deserves more study. Im one of those youre so frightened of you old fart. What are the weak points about Communism?

If you support Communism, how do you think it will help our society and/or the world?

You seem to be conflating the U.S. economic system with some foreign countries where one is born into a certain class and has no hope of rising any further. It is shown over and over again that in the U.S. people can, in fact, rise to great heights although coming from poor, hard scrabble living conditions. That is because we are guaranteed the right to the pursuit of happiness.

This is directly opposed to the socialist equality of outcome. You are also assuming that the handing out of work credits will be fair. History has taught US that taking money (say tax dollars) from one group and giving it to another is a miserable economic failure.

I was under the impression that under communism there would be no state. Without a state, there could be no such thing as taxation.

State or no state, under socialism you are still taking from some and giving to others. Where is the incentive to work any harder than the next person? Who is in charge of handing out work credits?

We wish too abolish work, wages, and money, if your not able to do your work, then we will adjust your work environment. There would be no need to "make people work harder" at the dildo factory, or the tanning salon, because unnecessary labor would be eliminated.

There's a difference between asking questions about Marxism, and asking questions about common sense

It begins with the conceit that boiling things down to the simplest of terms results in a comprehensive understanding of everything. I'd imagine quite a few eye doctors would be immensely offended if you told them their jobs could be performed with a machine and a janitor with one day of training. Makes me wonder if he even knows what an eye doctor can diagnose and treat.

no it doesn't lockes theories promote nothing but violence

so if i steal your land, kill your babies, and rape your wife it's because i have a "right too life"? you do realize your talking about a "philosopher" that encouraged slavery

No, he does it because he took the land away from the natural inhabitants and he can increase his profits by tilling the soil, watering the plants, clearing the weeds etc.... lockeans suggests colonialist slavery and white supremacism is the best way too live.

the garden would exist naturally, but you have come in and stolen this "land" called it your own and "sold" the contents for your own benefit, capitalists are murdering theives

why would the farmer be angered about that, if all his needs are taken care of?

yes all labor is equal the difference is you think owning land and property is somehow labor, equal to that of the coal miner, or the janitor

your argument is crap. what do you think, milton freidmans pencil poem, says about anything? its a ridiculous thought, do you think China and Russia or anyother country that attempted socialism couldn't figure out how to make a pencil? Your basically asking me, what is the Marxist response to this strange, and weird poem you found online?

I just don't know how too respond

This is the royal we I assume, as anyone that doesn't agree with the self appointed producers of policy can go (*)(*)(*)(*) up a rope in a gulag somewhere, right? You keep glossing over the details of exactly how this policy is produced. How do you determine ability and necessity? Are "we" a god? Do "we" have full understanding of everyone's needs and abilities? Or, like Geofree, will "we" assume that a necessary eye exam can be conducted by a janitor with a machine and an hour of training? Will "we" have a clue why people start dropping dead of undiagnosed cancer, heart disease, and diabetes? Marxism fails by the scale of the details it attempts to engineer. "We" have no clue about all of the nuanced details that it takes for a society to successfully function. These details are determined moment by moment by individual choices, not choices made by "us" like a hive mind in unison.

What nonsense. Locke condones neither theft nor murder. In fact, Locke attempts to establish protection from theft. If there is no property, there is no theft. If it doesn't belong to you, how can someone steal it from you? In contrast, communists march over the land of natural inhabitants, declare the land belongs to everyone (as long as you agree with them), liberate the inhabitants from the fruits of their labor, deign to allow them to have what the communist considers necessary, and strong arm anyone that disagrees. If you have no idea why that would be infuriating, perhaps you should speak to someone who lived in Eastern Europe in the 40's. Ask the people of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania that were deported from their "natural habitations" after being declared enemies of the people.

Another reason why Marxism is deluded. By artificially defining all labor as equal, they misjudge value, and the effort required for things to be produced. Forests and jungles exist naturally. Natural resources in forests and jungles must be refined in order to support the community. This refinement requires effort. That effort has value that is not equal to unrefined resources found laying around in jungles and forests.

Gardens don't exist naturally. They must be produced. Good ones are ordered and efficient. They are designed to maximize yield and reduce waste. They are designed to protect against disease and defended against pests and vermin. You think a farmer should protect his apples from a deer that comes and eats his fruit, but not protect it from a jack booted Marxist that tells him how much fruit he's allowed to keep?

Well first China has all but abandoned communism in favor of a Market economy primordially because of the pencil problem, constant flux of surplus and supply. That you cant see the issue is the problem. It really has nothing to do with the ability to make a pencil.

And there is nothign strange about the Marxist response. Its a typical Marxist rant for a question that they have no answer.

    - - - Updated - - -

That is not an answer to the question.

your confusing the dictatorship of the proletariat with world communism, the dictatorship of the proletariat would be a temporary state that exists only too destroy itself

Do you believe that the class system should be immediately abolished, or do you believe that there should be a period where the proletariat revolt and rule over the bourgeoisie before the class system is abolished?

And thanks for starting an open dialogue and staying patient throughout all of the attempts to derail the thread.

How can you logically support an ideology that has killed 100,000,000 innocent people?

100,000,000? Oh, the black book of communism.. Take the highest estimates, count every single death in every self proclaimed communist state, ignore all context, and what's funny is, they didn't bother to use the standards they use to look at capitalism..

It's like pulling teeth trying to get a straight answer from you.

The question was, "How does Marxism deal with citizens who care NOT to contribute, but still feel justified to draw from community resources?"

You replied with, "off to the gulag with them."

Now you're saying that your answer only applied to the "temporary state" of the dictatorship of the proletariat. Fair enough.

Then answer the question in regards to "world communism". After the dictatorship of the proletariat destroys itself (lol), how would citizens who didn't work be dealt with?

    - - - Updated - - -

Well which number do you find to be accurate?

im cool with just being a simple marxist

pretty much yeah:angel: my opinions on the theory of gravity is pretty much the same

marx did study Hegel but most of his work contradicts it

Keynesian economic theory seems to be the best at maintaining, communism the best at collapsing it

it absolutely does not, you can form gangs, mafias, and most fearful of all ze churches. even when you create an anarchist militia you are forming a group that will take power over others, you may not be a state but you do have some power over others. whats too stop them from exploiting anyone they wish? Couldn't they be considered, after a while, to be something worse than a state?

yes, but communism is not Utopian it its scientific
