Christians and good conservatives spend a lot of time doing volunteer work like this to help others. Now, with the current environment of trying to equate a chosen sex life with race, the assault has begun on Christianity and what the Bible says about gay sex. Why must the Chaplain be asked to agree to not discuss that gay sex is a sin when the Bible clearly states so? Why not let prisoners who choose gay sex simply avoid the Chaplain while others who know that gay sex is a sin and wrong, can sit and speak with him? Why must a good man of the cloth be banned because he preaches the Gospel? What message is desired, that government is your salvation?
The issue is being supported in special access and support by this guy and group. He is quite welcome to "counsel" with his hate and evil privately and individually. But he has no right to his previous special access.

I'm sure that if a devil worshiper wanted to make him/herself available that they would be allowed as well. The message here is that it's OK if you want to volunteer to bring your religion to those who wish to hear as long as it's not Christianity

If I'm not mistaken, the Pilgrims left England because they were not allowed to practice their faith. The founding fathers made it clear that one must be free to practice their faith. Now we have a state which feels that Christianity is harmful. The homosexual activists had best understand that it was God loving people who founded this nation and made possible for them to have the freedom to practice their religion of gay-sex. Christianity (in any meaningful sense), as far as the left is concerned, cannot be tolerated. To them, in many ways, it represents anti-liberal 'we make our standards on fly" sort of thing. Hating Christianity is fine (required) with them, but they love pandering to people who burn down private property, butt slam each other, lie, who slander others who disagree with them and who make crappy movies. It's astonishing these folks, the ones who are suffering because of these no-values preachers, haven't figured out they're being played by their preachers, but they haven't.
1. Just because someone is in prison, that does not mean that they are not religious. Many inmates believe in some "God" and request to speak to a priest of their beliefs. 2. Nobody forces these inmates to speak to this or any other priest. 3. If the inmates do not like what he preaches, they can request another priest. 4. This is not a State vs Church matter as the priest is not on the Government payroll, he is a volunteer. He is there to help mend the souls he feels are broken or those that feel that theirs is broken. 5. It is completely wrong for the prison to dictate what the priest preaches. Should they revoke his permit, he should sue for civil rights violations.
