I didn't know who Bannon was before a few days ago. That's partly why I'm asking. I do not think it was the appropriate pick based on what I've read.

And yes, I was flame baiting those who (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) about Bannon, but give Hillary a pass for being deep personal friends with a former GW of the KKK.

Shall I start with the numerous bomb plots and assassination threats?

Byrd was never a "GW of the KKK". He joined the KKK when he was young, was never a leader, and then did a complete 180 before Clinton joined forces with him. He was a civil rights leader who quit the KKK when he was young and spent the rest of his life apologizing for his involvement and making amends for it.

No, you should start with actual violence.

    Anything?.....at all?

If so, it'll be peanuts compared to the violence the left routinely commits in the name of 'love, acceptance, and tolerance'

Bomb plots and assassination threats aren't violent crimes? Since when?

I'm the last person to claim that violence is non-existent on the left, but right wingers can't, with a straight and honest face, claim they don't have their own violent loonies. My side, which is neither right wing or left wing, is no different either.

No, they are threats of violence.

Violence: behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something

And nobody is claiming each side doesn't have their violent loons. The point is the left champions themselves as morally superior, all accepting, etc when they are far more violent than the right.

Here's how our justice system defines violent crime:

"Violent crimes are defined in the UCR Program as those offenses which involve force or threat of force." https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2010/crime-in-the-u.s.-2010/violent-crime

I happen to agree. Sorry if you don't.

I'm not so sure. I seem to find people denying that every moth or so.

As does the right. In fact, you characterized the right as morally superior in this very post when you said that the left is more violent.

I don't suppose you have any evidence for this? Or really any response to a request for said evidence besides a deflection?

The DNC paid people to violently sabotage Trump rallies. The one in Chicago had to be cancelled.

Let's say that on Dec 12th the jury comes back with a guilty as charged in the fraud case against Trump. Presumably many of the electors are not happy to vote for Trump and this will give them clear justification to not vote as the state they came from. If 40 or more do so and assuming that it is highly unlikely that many, if any, will switch their vote to Hillary and toss is a third candidate such as Paul Ryan it now goes to the House. Will Trump supporters respect this totally constitutional and ethical outcome if Ryan is elected?

George Washington also turned down pay while as general and then later as president. Just cover his expenses. Turns out he had rather expensive tastes and Congress would have found it far cheaper to have paid him a salary.

What? You planning to kill off a justice or two?

With luck he'll keep none of them.

This Steve Bannon guy is sure drawing all the hatred from the Radical Far-Lefties...

If he pisses off that crowd, he's proabably just the right thing for America. I suspect we will see many good things from Mr. Bannon!

    Good Pick President Trump!

He's certainly much admired by the various right wing militia and supremacist types. Adored, like it's a love affair, and given the depth of the right wing gay closet a love affair is probably accurate enough a description. Maybe he represents 'a bit of rough' to the well heeled jackboot wearer.

Five Trump supporters have been caught in bombing plots. Hordes of Trump supporters tried to use violent threats to silence reporters and influence delegates. And has everyone really forgotten about the alt-right group FEAR?

All sorts of odious, violent organization support the Democrats/the left generally. Guilt by association fallacy.

Your nebulous deflection fails to address the topic. If you cannot honestly confront the unprecedented reality of the enthusiasm for Trump by neo-nazis, ku klux klan, and white supremacists, shifting the focus and pretending that it's politics-as-usual is blatantly feeble. Please find the testicular fortitude to deal with it.

This ain't my first rodeo, cowboy. I remember the left attacking McCain for the KKK supporting him. Guilt by association fallacy. Provide some real criticism or don't waste my time.

    Sad.

It's astounding how many mimic the little wheezer who just got caught making poo poo on the neighbor's doorstep who bleats as a defense, "Your son Toby once put a dead mouse in a mailbox!"

    It's ineffectual, dishonest, and pathetic.

If you are unable to deal with the joy of neo-nazis, ku klux klan, and white supremacists over Trump and Bannon, it's better to just skulk away than flaunt your inability to confront it.

The left's call on Trump has been that he's literally Hitler. That he's many orders of magnitude worse than your typical GOP nominee.

Provide evidence to substantiate this claim, not logical fallacies.

Only you can speak for your "left." Since I have never suggested that the reality tv performer is "literally Hitler," your claim is not my concern.

Are neo-nazis, ku klux klan, and white supremacists on record as being delighted with Trump's election and Bannon's appointment? Undeniably.

And, as I have said, that is a logical fallacy to transplant this concern onto Trump. If you want to show that Trump is a racist or his policies are white supremacist in nature, you need to show some of his actions and policies that are in themselves racist or white supremacist.
