So we have plenty of evidence of violence on the right, just as we have evidence of violence on the left. Until you can provide evidence that the violence on the left far outweighs the violence on the right, you have nothing. You have no argument. All you have is a presupposition which you "defend" by calling any attempt to weigh the right at all a "deflection" and arguments that attempt to limit the discussion to riots.

I'll take skepticism over such a heavily biased presupposition any day.

Democrats are too stupid to realize that historically, very very few times has one party held the white house for 3 consecutive terms. I think had they run a decent candidate and not an ugly, lying criminal they could have won. Trump wasn't a good candidate, it's just that Hillary was horrible.

 

Three so far that I've seen here: an aid to Kasich (yes, he's still alive), John McCain and his blood brother Lindsay Graham. The rest are lining up at Trump tower as we speak kissing the ring.

 

No, I'm not only talking about violence during the elections. I'm talking about violence on the left and right in general. Most leftist are decent folk. Most righties are decent folk. Neither ideology requires violence or is uniquely prone to it over the other. Both sides have their violent loonies. Neither should be characterized by their violent loonies. Yet I constantly see threads where people try to use a few instances of violence to malign all leftists. I've asked people if they've seen similar threads maligning the entire right in a similar way so I can say the same thing there, but so far people have only been able to link me to two or three threads that are either years old or were locked a long time ago.

You know as well as I do that people used these incidence to try to malign the entire left as being more violent than the right, which is what I was responding to.

When people try to use incidents like this to malign an entire group as being more violent than another, then placing arbitrary time constraints to force the case is intellectually dishonest. If people say that the left is more violent than the right, then yes, they are opening up the discussion to all instances of violence, not just the past few weeks.

Blame game? I responded to a blame game by pointing out that the same sort of flawed thinking could be used against the right as well. People in this thread are blaming the entire left for a few instances of violence. I'm pointing out that, by the same logic, the right would be guilty as well.

The ACORN videos were heavily edited. The unedited tapes told a different story. Many of the people he talked to knew he was full of (*)(*)(*)(*) and basically (*)(*)(*)(*)ed with him. One called the cops as soon as he left. He even edited himself into the videos dressed as a pimp. This is the guy you choose to believe?

Here is the thing though about false pretenses, do you think when the FBI investigates they always do it truthfully when it comes to congress? O'Keefe was trying to get the truth out of the Landrieu office. Instead he ended up being fined $1,500 plus probation plus community service. They let Hillary go free with far more damaging evidence.

 

Trouble for you is that O'Keefe was not submitted to trial over that.
