Where was Ted Koppel on the media for the last 8 years? They've done a complete 180 and gone from protecting the president at all costs to condemning the president at all costs. It's ironic that he only wants to talk about the media in the age of Trump because the last 8 years played the biggest role in a polarized America. It speaks volumes about your character, anyways, that you take Koppel's words at anything more than face value.

Nah, I don't like jackboots either. You do though. Plenty hyper-partisan ideologues love the jackbooted schutzstaffel civilian murderers and their thin blue line bullshit.

The left foisted the most authoritarian and intrusive government program ever devised. It is just their way.

They don't understand simple logic. Hands on and common sense beat a college education all day.

Who would you rather have driving your race car, the guy that's been driving race cars for a few years or the guy that went to college and took tests on how to drive race cars? Education doesn't breed common sense.

This is nothing more than one form media lashing out at another form. See the guy claims to be a journalist and news source then turns around and injects his opinions into his "news". Is he really that different from Hanity?

One could argue people like Hanity have a platform because people like Ted started down the trail of opinion "journalism" long ago.

    Which program is that?

Obamacare, the ghost of Obamapast, the notorious villain in the night that conservative talkshow demagogues like Hannity have railed against forever? Ad Nausea? That one?

    Social Security?

    Medicaid?

    Which one is it?

What about teachers? In NY they don't even have to be able to pass a reading test anymore.

Einstein was a High School dropout. He didn't even make to college to drop out.

You're actually right, because all I hear from lefties is bitching about Hannity and Limbaugh. Maybe y'all should tune into someone else.

Sounds like Ted Koppel is jealous that Hannity has more appeal than Ted ever had.

And this thread is proof that "progressives" do not want free speech, do not believe in debate or that ideas should be discussed, and do not believe the American public is capable of living their own lives.

Progs just want to dictate to everyone. That's obvious.

No, they don't have near the following that Hannity and Limbaugh have. I guess the bigger the following, the less qualified you are, lol.

Einstein's Studies at the Polytechnic Institute in Zurich (1896–1900)
After Einstein had received the university entrance diploma in Aarau , he joined the sixth department of the Polytechnic Institute, the school for subject teachers in the mathematical and scientific fields. His future wife, Mileva Maric (pdf, 1,2 MB), was the only woman registered. Einstein was disappointed that various newer physics theories were not dealt with at the "Poly", for example, James Clerk Maxwell’s theory of electromagnetic fields. He attended only few lectures, preferring to study at home. He was particularly absorbed by the article „Über die Grundgleichungen der Elektrodynamik für bewegte Körper“ by Heinrich Hertz, which dealt with Maxwell’s theory.

During preparations for the exams he sometimes relied on the lecture notes of his fellow students. The exemplary books of Marcel Grossmann (external link), that Einstein used, have been preserved. In the third academic year Einstein had difficulties with Jean Pernet’s "Physics practical course for beginners". Whether the professor or the experiments displeased him, is not clear; he played truant so often, that he was reprimanded by management and obtained the lowest possible mark (1).

In July 1900 he completed his studies at the Polytechnic Institute with a diploma. Apart from him, all four graduates obtained assistant posts at the Polytechnic Institute.

In his "Erinnerungen" , written on the occasion of the 100th birthday of the ETH (1955), Einstein describes his time as a student at the Polytechnic Institute.

    I'm pro-free speech.

I am not pro-right wing propaganda with baseless opinions and no facts to support them.

I am not pro-left wing hysteria, either.

These idiots sell LIES, not the truth, and none of what they say is factual.

You must clearly be for an uneducated electorate if you are for this habadashery.

“You have attracted people who are determined that ideology is more important than facts.”

Damn, that's what you call getting taken behind the 'shed by a guy with far superior street cred.

    FINE work, Ted...

    Riiiight, right...

So dropouts are stupid unless they aren't stupid, please tell me you have a college education. Hannity has been a success since at least 1992, and Limbaugh since at least 1984.

Did you hear the latest giant scandal? Senator Nunes was on the White house grounds the day before " he ran to Trump " to tell him of the information he found. Oh my God, this is the smoking gun . A senator on white house grounds , it's obvious he is working with Putin. Ha Ha , as ridiculous as this sounds , Democrats and the media are pushing this hard .

When you have the most listened to program, duh. Not that people expect you to think successful Conservatives are smart, we know better than that. Do you have a college education?
