Fox News just fired Bill O'Reilly. He was fired due to many accusations of sexual and racial harrassment. This comes after former head Roger Ailes was forced to resign due to similar accusations. Who will be next? Does Fox News have a culture that allows, perpetuates, and fuels racial and sexual harrassment? What needs to be done to deal with this?
One of the things I keep seeing is the comparison saying Bill Clinton raped someone but Bill O'Reilly lost his job because of allegations and somehow this demonstrates liberal hypocrisy in America. Bill O'Reilly, independent of Bill Clinton, dug his own grave when he allegedly acted like a pig towards women. Liberals did not make him do the things he did and ultimately it was the Fox board of directors that agreed he needs to go. It was a business decision when they started losing mass amounts of sponsors. You have a bad egg that is costing you money--you get rid of the bad egg. Capitalism at work I say. Bill O'Reilly has no one to blame but himself.
Bill had to go. if FNC didn't fire him, they would be accused of collussion with sexual and racial harrassment,
Good. He's always been the most liberal clown on fox. Hopefully a right wing Nationalist takes his place.
If Bills last name was clinton, you'd be here defending him. We don't defend/justify any action. Seems like he was a bad guy. Maybe he should of talked to bill Clinton for advise?
Well, he's certainly not a principled conservative. He's a populist with conservative and liberal tendencies. I'm not going to miss him. I wasn't a big fan. My mom, though, will be disappointed. She's not as hardline of a conservative as I am, and she was a big fan.
You are basically making him out to be an ******* for not being a hard-line "**** everyone who isn't conservative" type person? That is very strange to me. Seems like those are the type of people who are the biggest problem in America.
First Roger Ailes. Then Monica Crowley. Then Michael Flynn. Now Bill O'Reilly. Don't worry Republicans, that burn you're feeling is covered by Obamacare.
The jerk who fabricated the annual "War on Christmas" nonsense was too Liberal? lol Too bad not Alex Jones...right?
He's just not a principled conservative. He's way too authoritarian, which is not conservative. I'm not a big fan of people who aren't principled conservatives but who pretend to be conservative. That's why I voted against our President--he's not a conservative.
Republicans have nothing to do with conservatism any more; beyond social conservatism and bible thumping. They are all about controlling our lives - just not business. And they thump their bibles right until Trump grabs some P, then the bibles go back in the drawer for hypocritical literature and fantasies.
What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? The accusation of sexual misconduct has become proof enough for the mob. Remember Strauss-Kahn and his fall from the IMF and possible candidate for the presidency of France. It is time Men stand up for Manhood. Reviewing my list of TV channels I find general channels, Black oriented channels, women oriented channels but no channels dedicated to preserving straight manhood. How I miss "The Man Show" The playlist One of their best features was "Girls on Trampolines" And of course the Man Show Boy on his way to real manhood. When I was kid, kids drank their milk with Engineer Bob on TV. The Man Show made it beer. Indeed the audience use to get a beer too but that was stopped sometime along its' too brief time. Men, straight men need more than a show. We need a network or three like the dykes and Black people have. And no one working for the NMN (National Men's Network) will suffer job loss or reduction in status over unproven, unfounded accusations of sexual harassment. It is time straight men stand up on their hind legs like men and stop cowering to the PC. Please give me a "Like" now because I feel so unappreciated in a PC world. Moi Support Straight Men's Pride. r > g Across an immense, unguarded, ethereal border, Canadians, cool and unsympathetic, regard our America with envious eyes and slowly and surely draw their plans against us.
firing Bill only after immense public and commercial pressure says that FNC only acts when forced to and when at the precipise of disaster.
But Bill is iconic and a fixture of American conservatism. He's practically the face of Fox News, at least when they're not showing eye candy instead.
