You have a very long way to go from The Great Mystical Nothing Who Created Everything... Out of Nothing to eternal torment and stoning. This is why so many no longer argue over the existence of their god, just the existence of a god/gods.

 

Mate, I've been meaning to ask you and your atheist chums why you come into this Religious section even though you know zilch about spiritual matters?
I mean, there are lots of things I don't know about such as cars, motorbikes, economics, women, classical music, meerkats, computers, photography etc, so I'd never dream of gatecrashing forums dedicated to those subjects and trying to pretend I know about them, or I'd just be making a fool of myself..

Well Buddhists are generally following a philosophy so are in effect Atheists other faiths it depends out of the poll how many go to holy worship and are active seriously in their cults I would say its a lot lower than the numbers and there are Quakers who are Atheists, Agnostics and Humanists and Jews who are not practicing seriously if at all. These polls tend to be done poorly I would have insisted on including numbers for those who go to worship weekly, attend religious events outside of that once a month and who are not clergy then maybe you would get separate numbers those who identify but are casual worshippers who attend perhaps mass once a month and on holidays and more serious believers.

And indoctrination matters and how hard they try to keep you in the faith if one is "straying", I'm of the opinion a strong number clergy don't really believe their hype but lacking other options play along since being a clergy person is the only job they have. And I think most ministers children who can go into the ministry because its an easy career gig over getting other work and as legacies can snag the better starting positions over others not legacies.
