Which is antiquated and ignorant. The popular vote should decide elections.

    Cheers,

Regardless, Clinton handily won the popular vote.

The US will respond in kind to North Korean provocations. If they launch a handful of missiles at Guam, they will be lucky to hit within 100 miles. In response, the US can station the same number of target ships off the coast of North Korea and sink them with Missiles from the mainland. That will make the North Koreans take notice.

How do you know this? Based upon what facts? Your sources please. Otherwise, you're posting pure ignorant conjecture.

The popular vote DID decide the election...on a state by state basis.

Population of each state does weight the number of electoral votes each state has. Heavily populated urban centers are not more important than the rest of the country.

The winner of the World Series is the team who wins the most games, not the team that scores the most overall runs.

Clinton won the popular vote by nearly 3 million popular votes. That's a fact. Contest it if you so desire.

Does the World Series determine who becomes president? Since when?

The purpose being???? Why isn't the popular vote adequate, that is the will of the individual voter? Why is the individual voter's vote being discounted in favor of some 200+ year old flawed antiquated system used no where else in the world?

    Cheers,

The North Koreans would not launch missiles at Guam without the approval of the Chinese. They are not likely to give it.

    N. Korea artillery can't even reach most of Seoul. Our artillery could eliminate N. Korea's artillery quickly as we could see them thermally when fired from our satellites and N. Korea would not have a clue where our artillery that could be much closer were at - which could be much closer.

Destroying a city the size of Seoul with artillery at maximum range is essentially impossible, particularly with incoming artillery at that artillery.

It is stunning how many on the forum to the topic of risks to Americans show no concern whatsoever and instead only are concerned for no-Americans.

It is stunning that in response to the soon prospect that a sociopath sadistic mass murderer could kill 100+ million Americans and reduce the USA to an economic status lower than most 3rd world countries, with levels of horror, death, dying, starvation and social collapse that would make the world wars would look like a picnic by comparison - and over half the members say "so what? But what about S. Koreans?! Some of them might die if we defend ourselves from obliteration!!"

How do you know that? After all, the Chinese have condemned previous N. Korean missle launches.

We would prove that we aren't going to do anything but waste a bunch of money to prove we aren't going to do anything. Kim already knows we can sink ships.

Air bursting 25 missiles with only flash sonic bomb warheads at night 10,000 feet above Pyongyang - explaining "it was just a missile test" - might make a small point. I mean, we get to test the capability of our missiles to attack N. Korea like they get to do missile tests attacking us, right?

Vermin like the Mad Midget only become 'problems' because of mindless appeasement policies, the same kind of stupid idiocy that produces the Hitlers, Maos, Saddams, Wilhelm II's, and Pol Pots, etc., and nearly always results in mass murders and big wars further down the road. This little sack of ****'s family line should have been wiped out under his grandfather's reign of horrors, several decades ago. But despite having millions of pages of history to learn from, we insist on ignoring existential reality until it's far too late and this little turd and his enablers in Iran and Red China and Russia don't fear us at all and enjoy themselves with propping up these assorted vermin, and we now have several psychotic loon regimes now armed with nukes and the missile tech to extort and blackmail with, and in no small part assisted by the likes of such 'globalists' as Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama, who love them dearly and admire such regimes.

You don't know what China told Kim. You only know what public press release China made. N. Korea is a slave labor province of China and has been for over half a century. Kim is their local governor who cracks the whip on China's Korean slaves no different than a local governor over a Roman province. The missiles fly on Chinese components and Chinese orders.

Yes, well it always just a matter of time with these sorts of regimes, so putting it off even longer only gives the vermin more time to do more damage. We should have gotten it done many years ago, and as a result we merely find ourselves in a much deeper hole for it. Now is as good a time as any, certainly better than waiting even longer, and that's just an existential reality; this vermin is now a third generation criminal, so the futility of waiting around should be obvious.

This clown is nothing but a little pissant schoolyard bully.

When N.K. will start the war is when Kim is terminally ill and dying and he has the ability to hit 20+ of the USA's largest cities, essentially obliterating the USA economically and as a world power, with 100+ million dead and millions dying... all a great victory for a dying sadistic sociopath, also having nuked Seoul and Tokyo.

The result? Massive win for China which would be undisputed ruler of Asia and all to the Pacific theater - permanently. The EU and rest of the world would write us off, and billions would cheer the attack, including nearly a billion Muslims.

A much much smaller one than appeasement is ever going to cost.

I'm afraid a war could start because of a false flag operation. Gulf Of Tonkin anyone.
