Exactly. Although after a terrorist attack when obama would lecture everyone about how the victims deserved it, I do believe he was sincere.

It is true. Does that also mean that servicemen sign up for a job that hey are paid for just like anyone else? If so, you should probably remove them from the pedestal that they are put on in terms of that "sacrifice for the country...: and such, and they should be treated like anyone else who is doing a job for money. Is that what Trump and you intend?

But, back to the point: Of course, telling a parent of a loved one who passed away in military service or any other dangerous job that they signed up for it is pretty insensitive. I hope someone like that never speaks at my funeral.

obamas sentiment was "we caused them to lash out at us" Doombug is spot on. Thats what his whole apology tour was about. He thought apologizing for us would bring on flowers, sunshine and pink ponies and as we all saw, he was proven 100% wrong.

We don't have to imagine it. Wellllllll . . . in the mental perspective of our radical leftist leadership there were no domestic terrorists -- unless they were White -- and that's why Barack Obama had the Fort Hood terrorist attack/massacre labelled and act of Workplace Violence. It took roughly six years before lawmakers were able to get that designation overturned and relabeled An Act of Terrorism. THAT was how radical leftist Barack Obama swung; and especially when the terrorist attack was against the members of our own military.

 

Obama never called Gen. Kelly when his son was killed. Truth sure sets the snowflakes on edge.

 

Obama was such a loser; during the presidential run-up he didn't have me fooled for a minute. I still miss seeing him bounce down the steps of Airforce One though!

 

Go ahead and deflect to Obama all you want, but he is not the insensitive boor that Trump is. He could cry over children's deaths, for which he was criticized of not being an alpha male. Obama would have never gone to a parent of a fallen soldier and told them "but they signed up for it", as if that would make it better for the parent.

Trump, on the other hand, has shown exactly what he thinks of our troops: Commodities, who are paid to do a job and just can be treated like any other commodity. A commodity dies, no big deal, just sign up the next one and have them die in wars of choice instead of wars of necessity, juts like in Iraq. And then use them as a backdrop to score political points -- Mission accomplished. That's what Trump thinks of our military. They'll figure it out at one point, at which time their support for Trump will sink through the floor.
