    Probably it comes as surprise to nobody, but still interesting to watch yet another proof that youtube's motto "people - not gatekeepers - decide what's popular " is a lie, and there are people who can influence what goes up and what doesn't.

    Admittedly Alphabet is a private company and they have a legal right to build their websites in whatever fashion they want, but if they continue to alter search results this way then in the long run they will get a reputation of liars and cheaters, which they would deserve.

    But that's just it he did during the elections. He revealed the dirty tricks of the Democrats, and Hillary's name was mentioned on the secret video.

    Alphabet manipulate, discriminate and alter their search results according to their own set of rules, nothing fair about it, why wouldn't they do the same with You Tube. They've been doing it for years and they're still a mammoth corporation globally, don't hold your breath for lady justice

    For now all they are doing is just trying to sue him. But I agree that if he continues he will put his health and his life into danger.

    So you haven't even watched the video you are discussing. They claim so in the section one of their "Handbook of Values and practices for the News and Editorial Departments", as it has been mentioned in the video.

    I completely retract my "lady justice" comment, looks like Google and Facebook will have to answer at least for fake news.. and at least in Britain, means you could be required to register or hold a license to publish content in future, depending on the country. In Australia you only require a license for broadcasting. China everything is licensed and Hong Kong online media only require registration, all other licensed. If this pass I'm sure both Google and Facebook will pass the responsibility on to the publisher and put many hurdles in place

    Actually, I posed the wrong - indeed, they claim to be "neutral". And they are. Nothing in this video shows that they are not.

    It is the Fo卐 network which are liars.

    Well there can be no doubt that anyone that thinks Project Veritas is anything other than a partisan propaganda factory with only the most tenuous association with the truth (name notwithstanding), must have their own integrity, intellect and intelligence questioned.

    But be disgusted at the fanatical left wing propagandists by flagrantly flogging fanatical right wing propagandists.

    Me? I just amused at such a blatantly obvious and rather pathetic attempt to deligitimize any and all american instititutions. In this particular case the freedom of the press.

    They are aware of the left trying to kill their characters. That is why their videos consist mostly of raw undecover footage. It is not them saying things. It is them showing things.

    The issue isn't really freedom of the press at all. The NYT can say whatever it wants about Trump et al and no one is going to prison. The real problem is the Legacy Media which for decades has been both living off of and profiting from the illusion of being fair and neutral while actually being partisan to the very core.

    See, I have no problem with - I dunno, Mother Jones, Salon, MSNBC et al being pretty out there in left field because they admit their biases proudly. They're totally honest about who and what they are But then you have the NYT, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc who go out of their way to sell the illusion that they're without bias when they're really not at all.

    In fact, the biggest problem of all is that no one needed Trump to de-ligitimize the Media, his existence - and the press' reaction to him - merely proved what was obvious to everyone else: That the press de-ligitimized itself a long time ago.
