You must have missed this question. Here it is again...

Then please explain to me how the relatively small percentage of Americans who served in the military had their love for America and their patriotism for America enhanced by their service in the military and is now more loving and more patriotic than those who didn't or couldn't serve in the military.

It takes a real idiot (ala papa john) to politicize their brand. Real stupid mistake for such a marginal product. This stunt was never going to gain any new customers and was always going to cost them some.
That said, and not that I'm particularly liberal, but I couldn't give two sh!ts what a CEOs, managers, or cooks political views are. Provide me a good pie at a competitive price and I'll buy your pizza.

Papa John’s Pizza apologized Tuesday night for comments made by CEO John Schnatter blaming sluggish pizza sales on NFL players kneeling during the national anthem.

The Louisville, Kentucky-based company is a major NFL sponsor and advertiser, and Schnatter said on an earnings call on Nov. 1 that “NFL leadership has hurt Papa John’s shareholders” and that the protests “should have been nipped in the bud a year and a half ago.”

The company tweeted a statement offering to “work with the players and league to find a positive way forward.”

“The statements made on our earnings call were describing the factors that impact our business and we sincerely apologize to anyone that thought they were divisive,” it said. “That definitely was not our intention.

Those who did serve, their actions speak louder than any words I could type. Tell yourself what ever you want if it makes you feel any better.

It's not like I didn't try, I was classified as 4F due to a fractured vertebrae received from a fall down a flight of stairs when I was 17, what's your excuse?

So, does your "trying" move your patriotism and love of country up a notch over someone who didn't try yet still well below someone who did serve?

Certainly not any question you could ask.

When you answer whether you served or tried.

Certainly not any question you could ask.

When you answer whether you served or tried. As I said they and I took action and just donate lip service.

Are you registered with selective service? If we end up with war in Korea you'll be needed.

So does the cook in the army deserver the same reverence from you as the Combat Soldier ?

And does only the Military count ? How about Federal employees ? How about Politicians ?

Of course they do, they took action and served regardless of the capacity. My Dad was his squadrons electrician and substitute flight engineer. My Dad was a gentile soul and didn't want to hurt anyone, but he still went on 6 combat missions subbing for an injured flight engineer. Cooks worked as hard as anyone else, they had the monumental task of keeping everyone fed.

Federal employees and politicians are scum and deserve to be paid like our military for the meager amount they do. The military should be paid like the politicians and Feral Employees.
