Hillary, a Democrat spent years attacking the women who pointed the blame of sexual assault at her husband and Franken is not only a Democrat but until recently he was mouthing off about Right of Center (alleged) abusers of women. So that is NOT a deflection and nor a comparison of apples to oranges. It's actually a case of a small Dem Party apple (Franken) being compared to a large Dem Party spoiled apple (Hillary).

 

The people in the Washington Post and other Liberal Papers are supposed to be almost worshiped as Gods. They are so morally superior to everyone else. How dare you demean them.

True. But he’s been in the public eye for his whole adult life and everyone knows he embellishes and brags about everything. So hearing him exaggerate isn’t the same as outright lying like a career politician. Rehearsed strategic lies prewritten by a team, is far more divisive than someone speaking from the hip, getting a detail wrong. That’s called context.

It’s the difference between saying, “I’ll build a wall in a week” vs “keeping your doctor”. Both wrong, but one was a purposeful lie to deceive and manipulate people. The other was someone just talking, believing people wouldn’t be so stupid to take it literal, as if a wall could actually be built in days.

 

It's an interesting (and very convenient I must admit) version of feminism in which demonizing, delegitimizing and destroying victims of rape/sexual assault who bravely came forward against powerful politicians is no big deal as long as the vilification is done by people on "your side". Yet another example of the anti-Trump mob's utter dishonesty and double standard.

The difference between Trump's words and Franken's mugging for the camera is actually not a whole hell of a lot. Both think their fame and prestige entitled them to act like idiots. Sorry, but I'm not naïve enough to think Trump was lily white, especially given his anxiousness to be interviewed by Howard Stern who is known for his lewd comments about women, and his anxiousness to cheat on his wives with a younger model. I believe Trump's accusers, and his own words, just like I believe Franken's accuser that he stuck his tongue in her mouth without her permission.

By the way, making jokes about grabbing women's genitals without their permission isn't by definition an exaggeration or an embellishment, and if it was his way of "bragging" than that calls into question his moral character since most people don't consider that anything to be bragging about.

 

It's her fault because she doesn't have "Don't stick your tongue down my throat" clearly tattooed on her forehead.

I agree. That was my reaction when I saw people call the Roy Moore accusers liars, on this board and in the media, but I don't think those people are feminists. It's also my reaction when I see people call the Franken accuser a liar. Not sure how that becomes an "anti-Trump" thing.

 

This is all one big game. The end target is Trump and the U.S. Senate. The Leftist think they can sacrifice an actual loser molester like Franken and take out Moore and eventually Trump in 2020 on this garbage.

 

And if you’ve listened to Stern you would know 99% of the crap he says are jokes and exaggeration and as a guest you follow. And considering at that time Trump was selling his brand as sort of a playboy. He wasn’t a politician and was NEVER claiming to be a choir boy. He hasn’t attacked people for those issues while claiming to be perfect. Again. Context.

A comedian who says a bunch of **** about people being moral then gets caught, is very different.

 

It's just that people who claim "she did not rape, she merely demonized and destroyed the victims of rape/sexual assault for political benefits so it's no big deal" are extremely intellectually dishonest and their constant claims of moral superiority notwithstanding, their disregard for victims of sex crimes is staggering. You know who I am talking about, right?

 

Yes, you're talking about all of the people who are discounting the accusations against Moore, Franken, Trump, and Clinton, presumably. That's who I'm talking about.
