I guess Trump was right, he did unite the Koreas. What better way to do it, then letting the Korean people know the US couldn't care less how many of them die in order to further Washington's own geo political ambitions. Both Koreas have formed a unified women's hockey team, so they will be marching under a unified flag at the opening ceremony.

Among the N. Korean delegation will be 230 cheerleaders, 140 artists, and 30 Taekwondo fighters. I don't know what they are either, but one thing I do know, and that is we won't be seeing any of them on the MSM. Good thing I go to RT and Sputnik.

North and South Korea have agreed to form a unified women's hockey team for the upcoming Winter Olympics, and will march under a unified flag at the opening ceremony, according to a joint statement.

North Korea is due to send a delegation which will consist of around 550 members including 230 cheerleaders, 140 artists and 30 Taekwondo fighters, to South Korea on January 25.

Are you sure? I mean beyond the typical military preparations against all potential threats including an honest to god plan to repel space invaders?

If they lose you won't ever see them again, probably.

It was done without consulting the South Korean national team and a North Korean ice hockey team did not qualify for the Olympics. Because of this symbolic gesture, some legitimate South Korean ice hockey players would have to give up their positions to North Koreans and they are resentful about it.

It doesn't matter if they're resentful, it sends out a message and it's better than being blown up in a war neither the north or south want.

Actually Kim has made quite a few changes in his economic system these past few years. The Koreans this past week, have agreed to allow relatives to visit one another on the other side of the border... and this is a good first step. Another good step is having them work together to form a transit system for Russian goods to Japan and other countries in the Far East.

Much better than war don't you think? As for what kind of government system might emerge over the years for the two Koreas... if any, is their own business, and no one else's. More than likely they will remain two separate countries, but with a lot of modification on the part of N. Korea.

I think the window for war by Trump with Rocket Man are past.

Now that Rocket Man can reach D.C. with his nukes, war is impossible.

Even a limited strike against this madman are now impossible.

Trump missed his chance, same as Obama, Dubya, Clinton, and GWH before him.

Um yah Kim's made several important economic changes in recent years. Sure haha. My favorite being the intentional starving to death of millions of his own people so he could afford to pay for his intercontinental ballistic missile program.

Let's be frank about it. The only thing you care about is no US military action there that would potentially result from a guaranteed victory.. That being a stronger democratic and US ally next to your beloved Russia. It's ALL you care about. Not loss of life, or any of the Koreans N or S.

You can stop with the charade at any point. Your post history pegs you. Thanks

And if any of them happen to "get lost" and not go back their families will end up in the death camps.

That's funny, but I doubt it. Anyway China freaked out about Trump's latest ridiculous move, and that's to have a meeting with Canada and about 20 of the nations that fought in the Korean war to decide on what to do about N. Korea. China and Russia who border N. Korea, and who have their armies lined up along the border as a warning to the US, weren't invited to participate, except at the end so they can be told what was decided.

Will the games and provocations by Washington ever cease? This blatant in your face callousness over the millions of deaths N. Korea suffered, makes the US look even more petty and ridiculous.

I don't know about rats and cats, but there aren't many dogs running around in China. I guess it's an acquired taste. The poor things... I'm becoming a vegetarian.

There has to be some cool and sane heads within the U.S. Congress. I know of Rand Paul who would, IMO, vote no on going to war. Rand Paul stood in the way of "Insane" McCain in his conspiratorial efforts with Soros and the mega rich oligarch (don't know his name) to snatch up Montenegro (and its resources) to thwart any economic independence Mr. Putin is endeavoring for the people of Russia. He (Rand Paul) was attacked and severely beaten for his efforts.
