    The issue is NOT DACA. The issue is CHAIN MIGRATION Democrats tacked on to DACA.

    Trump has never said he would sign a clean DACA bill.

    he wants it to also end any family unification Visas and fund the wall.

    only citizens of the USA can sponsor a relative immigrant. DACA are not citizens.

    "Chain migration" has been around for a long time.

    No. The issue is DACA.

    The reason is that DACA expires in about 3 weeks since Trump killed it.

    If Dems allow DACA to be omitted from this bill, these kids will get deported to countries that are totally foreign to them.

    Chain migration and all the other pieces of immigration can be resolved at a later date.

    The DP's MSM arm tried to warn them not to shut the goverenment down, but to no avail.

    I still don't understand what specifically about chain migration was being tacked on to DACA or even if Schumer presented Trump with a clean DACA bill at all.

    I do know that Schumer and Dems are all over TV and social media lying about their willingness to vote yes for Wall funding. The Wall is approximately 21 billion and Schumer only said ok to 1.6 billion and that is already going to get passed via another bill....

    So even if the DACA bill was clean Schumer didn't offer anything in return.

    So yeah. This is all starting to smell like a very poorly invented attempt by Dems to make the GOP look bad for the midterms... But at the expense of shutting down the government?

    More leftist stupidity. God. Keep up the madness and there won't be any Democratic party left at all on the hill.

    Exactly. He's said "bill of love", etc.

    BUT, he has also killed DACA (expiring in 3 weeks) and blocked qualified applicants from being registered.

    The idea that the House, the Senate and the President would pass a bill including a solution for DACA in 3 weeks is just plain STUPID.

    DACA times out in 3 weeks (since Trump killed it).

    If a DACA solution isn't part of this bill, ICE will start deporting DACA registerees.

    That's the central issue.

    Obviously, a $200K difference in wall funding isn't the issue. That could be resolved at any time.

    DACA can't be resolved at any time. And, Trump states clearly that he wants these kids deported. Republicans congressional leadership isn't nearly strong enough to oppose that as a single issue.

    Are you distracted? You've been told multiple times that no clean DACA bill was presented to Trump and the Dems lied about the wall funding offer. $200k? That's twenty one billion I mentioned that Schumer is lying about. Literally... He's on Twitter and CNN saying he offered the wall funding. He only offered 1.6 billion that Trump is already going to get somewhere else!

    Bottom line no BS Schumer has offered nothing to get DACA approved and to make it worse he even tried to tack on other immigration policy to boot.

    He intentionally shut down the government for some odd reason.
