And yet they receive benefits from the US government paid for with taxpayer dollars.

"Plain party politics," she said. "There's another month to figure out DACA -- they"re attaching it to a spending bill."

"I understand that DACA is a very emotional issue at this point but most Republicans are on my side on this one, Ana, and it's difficult for me to understand sometimes why you still consider yourself a Republican," McCain said.

She needs to ask Jen Rubin the same question.

Dreamers, but not their extended families or even parents also getting to ride the amnesty gravy train. Sure, the Dreamers did nothing wrong, because they were kids, but NOT anymore. Their parents were illegals on day 1 and still are. They HAVE TO take personal responsibility for breaking our laws. There has ot be consequences. Otherwise, why have borders at all? Giving them a pass simply sets up the next wave DEMANDING and EXPECTING a pass. It never ends. The line has to be drawn after decades of our most intelligent sitting in DC doing NOTHING.

I find it amusing watching and listening to the news while the hosts bloviate about illegals' fears. Fear? Really? Instead of being concerned over their fears of being deported, we should be more concerned over the fact they haven't been scared up until now. Seems like we're doing our ****ING job for once, because they SHOULD be fearful. One such person they interviewed who admitted to overstaying her Visa, has NEW fears over carrying documentation. REALLY? When I visit other countries I carry around my fracking Passport and ID, like any normal person visiting a country. Because that's what you do. The complete disregard for our laws is embarrassing and I find it insane how Democrats defend this. Please Democrats, go visit Mexico and break some laws without your passport and see how they treat you. Please go right ahead and report back to us, if you get out of prison.

 

I would wager that most young (and some older) "right wingers" do not want Social Security, they would rather have their money and not give it to the government. As for those people both of the right and the left that have been paying it for decades they should expect to get back all of the money they have contributed for their life time.

 

Who's to say the politicians are even listening to the people about what they want? Most sanctuary cities are ran by Democrats and are areas where an alternative person has no chance to unseat them. If you know that you have no competition why do you need to listen to all of the people. You listen to the minor and if your the only Democrat on the ticket you're getting elected.

 

Well based upon the poll......yes. As evidenced by the state of many cities across the country and some states......people don't think through to the ultimate result very well.

 

No argument. The American people have a heart, and don't want to fault the kids brought here not by their choice, BUT they also want this practice to stop.

 

My point was we have over 300 million people and is there a need to justify more? The more people we have, the more resources we need, the more crowded are streets are, the more land that has to be cleared to build houses, the more water and electric we use, the more we discard into dumps, etc.

Whatever needs to get done in this country can be done with our existing citizens. If there's something we can't do that a foreigner can then we're in a bit of trouble.

nope. 14th amendment makes anyone born on US soil a US citizen, with the only except being the children of diplomats with immunity, or children of an invading army soldier.
