No, you are. People are never depressed for no reason. The reason - in the absence of a quantifiable stressor - is that they were not well parented (from birth), and subsequently have poor coping skills. In such a dysfunctional individual, no stressor is needed.

1) Perspective is always crucial to truly humane existence. The minute you direct resources (intellectual and/or material) to something which has not earned a place on the perspective ladder, simply because you've lost sight of perspective altogether, you're insulting and abusing those who continue to starve. Origin, did not define it as a sex.
We have male or female to give names to the 2 sexes. Given humans are made up of many genes, hormones, and a whole host of other compounds, I seriously doubt that any of this is binary.
