One could also look for their values at what they support, what they will be prepared to do might is right on without a care in the world about how many deaths and chaos this leads to. Like wise they have no problems with the reality that their own government just makes up stories and changes reality at a whim to suit its political purposes of that day and that has relevance to this thread. First we had Iraq and its nuclear weapons. In the UK we were told that Iraq had WMD'S (nukes) which could reach us in 45 mins despite the reality our intelligence knew this was nothing of the sort. Iraq we were told was also an Al Qaeda stronghold despite British intelligence saying that Iraq was free of these groups but that the very thing that would bring them in would be an invasion.

So now in reference to this thread we have the fact that Israel is once again hollering that another country is still building nukes, Iran while at the same time we have your government trying to present Iran as a prime mover in 9/11.

No imagination even. We see the same lies being presented as were presented to the US citizens for Iran as were used for Iraq and yet even with this knowledge such people still shout for war with Iran. They have no democratic values.

Freedom of religion? Well we see how much these people believe in that when they lump all Muslims together as terrorists and absolutely refuse to look at reasons for what happens. It is all authoritarian the way these people think. They believe so it is so. Might is Right.

It goes on and on. A democracy only can last if its people become politically informed and keep their government in check but democracy is more than a vote every four years, it is also a set of ideals, it is a way of working.
