Sometimes statutes are hard to understand.. I have a lot of grueling training in that.. Ann Dunham wasn't an expat American.. She had ALWAYS lived in the US... and her husband was in the US on a student visa so he was under US jurisdiction.

No, rahl, my 'problem' is that ever since World War II we've allowed tens of millions of illegal aliens to invade the United States. As I said, I blame everybody, including American employers (first and foremost) for allowing this to happen. Phony, bullshit "deportation" that does nothing useful is nothing but political 'gloss'.... Do you really need a reminder of what Obama allowed to happen in 2014?!

We brought them here in huge numbers to do manual labor in this country while American men were off fighting FDR's and Churchill's war. American employers liked having good workers for crap-pay, and that's how the problem started. Then, in the 1960's, liberal Democrats found a way to grow their own political constituency using them, their families, and their 'anchor babies'. You know this, and you know the rest.
