Where is God? HE is among the righteous. Where is God? He is among the upright in The Way. Where is God? HE is among His Saints. Where is God? HE is among the right doers. Where is God? HE is among those that worship in Truth and in Spirit. Where can one find God? One can find HIM among the righteous. Where can one find God? One can find God among the upright in The Way. Where can one find God? One can find HIM among His Saints. Where can one find God? One can find HIM among right doers. Where can one find God. One can find HIM among those who worship in Truth and in Spirit.

Must I relocate to find HIM? If there are none righteous, if there are non upright in The Way, if there are no Saints, if there are no right doers, if there are none that worship HIM in Truth and in Spirit, then maybe it would seem more plausible to find HIM elsewhere. How would one get there? If there is no God around, how does one get there?

Airplanes do not take off on time. Busses do not run on time. Taxi cab drivers cheat the passenges of fares. Even the mechanics, the pilots, the bus drivers, the taxi cab drivers are not righteous.

Punctuality, being on time, is righteous.

Speaking of punctuality, why has Mr. Assad over stayed his full president's term by 4 years?

Maybe the international leaders think he's being cute by being so lost.

Well, thought we actually spotted the baby jesus up in Cape Cod Bay the other weekend!!!

But it just turned out to be Pete, the local midget, wearing an oversize t-shirt that was flappin' crazily in the wind.

The knucklehead bought a used WaveRunner and was out joy-riding in the bay. 8)

Such a trickster that Pete...

Well thanks for the vote of confidence. I hear there is a special place for nonbelievers. A place with fire where atheists will be used for kindling.....

I'm not sure. I think 'who' sounds nicer though. And I meant the Christian god. At least in terms of how He is often interpreted.

"God" was defeated by plains people with chariots equipped with Iron.

    The bible says so itself.

Jon Jehovah Yahweh wasn't even the most recent hire. Wayne Allah was hired around 605 A.D. as an intern in the Deities department. He took 5 years to submit his design proposal and completed his public reveal sometime around 610 A.D., which also marked his first day as a permanent hire. It seems the benefits are nice working for GodCorp. Inc LLC but Philip Zeus has been outspoken about his contempt for the working hours and below average wages. It seems even our gods get shafted by prophet hungry upper management.

Always funny that those who most loudly profess Their beliefs get such glee in the thought of others suffering. If your god actually exists you have just consigned yourself to the fires.

Meh, since you are no authority on the topic I do not care. If people choose the suffering where is the crime?

Mean hardly begins to describe the behavior of the Christian deity. Honestly, I'm surprised a religion with a deity like that thrived at all. Also, how is my view warped?

You say "mean hardly begins to describe the behavior of a Christian diety"....that is a general statement. Why do you avoid being specific?

Good point. I suppose I wasn't sure if you wanted to read more, though I could start with the basic idea. Essentially, I say the Christian God is horrifying because of the fact that He is said to be omnipotent and omniscient. To me, this makes any suffering that is allowed to happen to humans the result of that diety's refusal to establish a safer existence. Compare this with those gods of ancient Greece, for example, which were simply cruel or selfish powerful beings. The Christian God had it in his ability to create a world where everyone was safe, everyone wins and there is no suffering or sin. They say there needs to be sin for their to be good, but if a deity is omnipotent, that obviously doesn't have to be the case. Instead, the flawed existence was clearly God's choice. It is clear that He willfully refused to prevent many negative outcomes, even if they weren't caused by Him directly. Also, humans have no say whether or not they want to be born into this madness (those who are aborted would likely be fortunate to escape the risk of damnation) or have the "gift" of free will. Free will being an enormous risk to our safety under such a regime. The ability to make ourselves worthy of punishment is a liability. Free will is good for an all-powerful being that answers to no one, but for humans, it simply does more harm than good.

Also the irony of this coming from an authoritarian like myself isn't lost on me. The difference is that I didn't (and would not) give people the ability to think and do things in a way I disagree with, thus making them worthy of punishment from my perspective. Instead I'd simply do the things I would because reality is not fully under my control. It isn't as if I could simply will it that everyone thinks the way I want them to.
