U.S. reaches trade deal with Canada and Mexico, providing Trump a crucial win. https://tiny.iavian.net/oxhq Lot of details to come. Amazing what a POTUS can do when he puts America First.
I'm non partisan, thus, I will congratulate the Three Amigos. Details aside, good news for North Dakota due to the following reasons; 1. ND has a healthy trade surplus with Canada.....Almost 84 per cent of our exports wind up north of the border. 2. over 3 million Canadian visitors/cross- border shoppers 3. and the following Canadian companies/employers operating in ND http://www.amchamcanada.ca/sites/de...panies Doing Business in North Dakota (2).pdf
before you say 'mission accomplished', what did they get and what did we get out of the deal, have you seen it yet, or is this like the NK deal, a whole lot of nothing seems like Trump is backing down, no real deals thus far
"Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe" -- Steven Chu, Barack Obama's Energy Secretary.
I think we're all asking will you two be happy if it's a better deal or are you just waiting to say it wasn't enough even though you weren't for changing it to begin with? Your partisan hack jobs are always the same and we can see them coming a mile away.
for that to happen Trump would have to explain what the deal was, how it's different from what we had before and not screw it up by attacking a gold star family or something else crazy
The media wont talk about it at all. But it is a win for Trump, and Americans. Consumer confidence hasn't been this high in 20 years. Unemployment is low, the market is up. Theres not a whole lot, economically, anybody could complain about. Although you will find some who are never satisfied with anything because its Trump making all the magic happen. "2% GDP is the new norm." - Obama Lololol. It was the norm for his lame presidency. Thankfully he finally had to move out of the way.
I need to see what it is to see if it's any better let alone the greatest deal of all time as some want to claim without ever seeing it minor changes, vs major changes, what are the changes? my guess some give and take and not much of anything, but we will see
yet we just heard Microsoft and Verizon are shipping jobs overseas to India in fact corporations are shipping jobs overseas at a all time record high under Trump, what up with that and what is Trump doing about it?
Trump eagerly wanted a deal prior to the midterm elections, thus, no doubt, there were several last minute "give-and-take".
That's why tariffs are needed. Other countries dont compete on the same playing field. For example... Nike has their shoes made in China by child slave labor for .5 cents per hour (hypothetical but not far from the truth). Ironic given the left's love for them lately but that's neither here nor there. If they are allowed to do that, that is unfair to US companies who have to abide by miles of rules and regulations thanks to... well you know who. The tariffs are one way to offset that disadvantage. The tariffs our lefty friends are complaining so much about. But those tariffs show we arent ****ing around. That's why Canada and Mexico, who were so anti-Trump, are signing new deals. Because we are America and we hold ALL the chips in this game of economic poker, and everyone knows it. Everyone except the previous administration.
I support Tariffs that are good for this county, I just am waiting to see if Trump made the deal much better or just more of the same yes, I support tariffs with China too, but this is not such a deal it would be nice to see republicans finally support Tariffs, but I have a feeling it's smoke and mirrors with jobs shipping overseas, we may one day be a 3rd world country, what is trump doing about all the jobs leaving this country to India?
A renegotiated NAFTA agreement that helps America is really gonna piss off democrats. The last thing they want is a successful America.
That is not a proper Obama quote. He warned about the risks associated with thinking that we are under a new normal - at the height of the financial crisis in 2010.
Why Trumpettes want to hold their President to the same standard as an internet troll is beyond me. Value should not be derived from the amount of anger that the President garners.
