Is your judgement really no better than that? Don't you see that the president is supposed to lead, and as a leader he should set an example? What kind of an example is it to pit people against each other and thereby exacerbate divisions?
That would be a spin. The MSM is trying to do its JOB of alerting the public to a very serious political problem named "Trump". Reporting the facts to inform people of such problems is their most sacred job. I agree. "Punch him in the face" and "they used to carry them out on a stretcher" and "enemy of the people" and "smack 'em" are great examples. "Knock the crap out of them, would you? Seriously. Okay? Just knock the hell — I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees.” Want more? Here: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/donald-trump-incitement-violence/ Nope. That is more spin, and DANGEROUS spin at that. That's a serious exaggeration. Yes. That is why so many are screaming and protesting Trump and the lackey Republicans. Yup. Trump. The MSM could do a more focused, more pointed job of it though. That would be good. We need it. That is why Trump is "persecuted" by the left and the public. No, Trump is a pathological liar and everyone knows it. That is why he was warned against testifying under oath for Mueller's investigation. Your spin is noted.
Once again the left is repeating a lie. Trump says the Fake News is the enemy of the people. He is correct. CNN and other lefty news outlets are the propaganda arm of the democrat party. They spent 8 years turd polishing obama and have done nothing but attack Trump. The majority of the American people see the media as more divisive than Trump.
You are of course correct. The media is not red or blue.....its green. It follows ratings to make money. Sure some media chains like msnbc or fox have carved out niche markets in liberal or conservative areas but the MSM is unbiased. That is how they appeal to the largest market and make the most money
No, the media is the enemy of the people because they don't report the truth. They're an arm of the Democratic Party. The media has abandoned its traditional role of educating the American people on the facts. Instead, they've made advancing a leftist agenda their top priority.
Journalism attracts leftists who want to fundamentally change the U.S., by spreading the acceptance of socialism. Conservatives go into law, medicine, science, business, etc. They have no desire to change the world. They want the world to improve gradually, with no fundamental changes.
I'm not sure. I think there is a way to get out this situation the upper way. There is some acts or some words that seems insulting for someone, but in the end it's more a shame for the one which says it.
It is not that they are one sided that bothers me, it is the pretense that they are not. Quit acting like CNN or MSNBC is some how more pure than Fox or Breitbart, they aren't. Fox at least has left wingers on their shows that's more than I can say for CNN or MSNBC.
In what way? He hasn't done anything to curb their right of free speech. He has only criticized what they say.
Suggested reading for those who still care about this country and the Constitution and have real concerns about the man whose oath of office commands him to uphold and defend that very document upholding and defending it... Shortly after assuming office in January 2017, President Donald Trump accused the press of being an “enemy of the American people.” Attacks on the media had been a hallmark of Trump’s presidential campaign, but this charge marked a dramatic turning point: language like this ventured into dangerous territory. Twentieth-century dictators—notably, Stalin, Hitler, and Mao—had all denounced their critics, especially the press, as “enemies of the people.” Their goal was to delegitimize the work of the press as “fake news” and create confusion in the public mind about what’s real and what isn’t; what can be trusted and what can’t be. That, it seems, is also Trump’s goal. In Enemy of the People, Marvin Kalb, an award-winning American journalist with more than six decades of experience both as a journalist and media observer, writes with passion about why we should fear for the future of American democracy because of the unrelenting attacks by the Trump administration on the press. https://www.brookings.edu/book/enemy-of-the-people/
No, it is a fact. That is why the heads and members of the Commission noted in the media that the commission was set up to fail. That is why in its report, the commission noted 60 times that "we found no evidence" to support various elements of that story. That is why Bush & Cheney testified in secret, and why the testimony of Rodriguez was taken in secret and then excluded from the report. And our illustrious mainstream media retells that lie at least annually, and much more often. A media that lies to the people is NOT to be trusted, is NOT credible. It is not a friend of the people.
And yet it was the administration of Barack Obama that broke precedent regarding the press, by targeting reporters and journalists, and ordered the tapping of their phones to gain access to their conversations with confidential sources of information.
