Puerto Ricans living in Puerto Rico do have the right to decide the island status but only congress has the authority to change the status.

I would never purpose any action that would jeopardize anyone's homeland. I was curious about the restrictions that would be imposed on foreigners. The US from it's birth has always been a multicultural country, but times are changing and we are experiencing a similar change in diversity due to immigrants leaving their country to find a better life. I guess if you live in a country that has something better to offer immigrants/refugees will come.

 

But aren't those lower paid Eastern Germans also working for Eastern Germans so perhaps you should be blaming Eastern German employers? As for government jobs, cost of standard living should be taken into account - there is a big difference in living costs between West Germany and East Germany and as your fun fact says, the difference in pay is greater for private businesses than public businesses

 

Your link seems to be saying that the biggest cause of the rise in AFD is because the German men can't get a woman and so take it out on immigrants.

 

I'm not sure what Puerto Rico has to do with anything in this topic. If Puerto Ricans decided they want independence, I've no doubt Congress would grant it.

Thats the difference between USA and Germany (and all european countries).

Our ancestors live on this land since 12.000 years. They found bones in Sachsen-Anhalt, which were 11.500 years old and the DNa could even be traced back to some people in a nearby village.

If we lose our homeland we lose our ethnicity and thousands of years of culture, history and development.

 

There are almost no eastern german employmers. Almost 90% are in the hand of west germans. There is not a single eastern german corporation at the DAX stock index.

There is no difference in costs of living. In fact in many eastern german regions like Dresden, Leipzig ect its higher than in the west.

East Germans in general dont allow this any longer.

When Siemens threatened to close down a factory in Sachsen, the east german workers threatened to burn evrything down and vote even more AfD. In the end Siemens gave by and fired the west German workers in a west german plant.

The difference in holidays we compensate for call in sick.

And west german bosses get systematicly mobbed out. Last year September we got a west german police chief and he was mobbed out.

Certainly there was a time when there was open invitation to the USA, and other new democracies, but that was well before social programs existed. Then you had to succeed on your own or return to your homeland.

Rather than forcing people to leave their homes for a better future why don't Honduras, Guatemala, and many other countries throughout the world change their policies and education systems so that people won't be forced to leave their homes, families, neighbors and culture. etc. Wouldn't that make more sense?
