One more time since you seem a little dense. A few thousand Indians were killed in the Indian Wars, mostly due to reprisals for Indians murdering settlers, most of which were women and children. The vast majority of the Indians died from disease. If it was genocide, the government could have easily have wiped out the remaining Indians, instead they gave them over 56 million acres of land to live on.

Do your homework and you will learn that NYC did not have a police force until 1820 - well after Alexander Hamilton died. As you know he was the Founding Father who was principally involved in having the population approve of the Constitution. If it wasn't for him it may not have been enacted. There is nothing in the Constitution or in any of our Founder's writings which support the idea of cops killing people in cold blood with impunity. On the contrary our Founders advocated the unrestricted right of access to weaponry in order to prevent such repression.

Now let's hear all forum right wingers stand up and affirm this TRUTH.

I am about to throw up my arms an go with supporting the UK model of complete disarmament given that the second amendment supporters seem bend on no repeat no restrictions no matter how deep the bodies of our next generation pile up in the school houses of the nation along with other public gathering places.

Tired of the mass murders of innocent men women and children done by nut cases and even those if it would mean giving up my firearms so be it assuming that the choices are either between no restrictions or a complete UK type ban.

To me the far right 2 amendment supporters are their own worst enemies.

 

The tragedy is that too many people own guns have not had it impressed upon them that owning a lethal weapon comes with added responsibilities.
You are far more likely to be killed in your home if you own a gun. You are far more likely to be shot by an intruder using YOUR gun that you are to shoot an intruder. If you want to own a gun fine but you should at least go through as much training as you had to to get a drivers license. If a crime is committed using your gun you should bear some legal responsibility. You can bet people would keep their guns safely stored if they had to carry liability insurance on them and when they're used in a crime their premiums skyrocket.
I have absolutely no problem with responsible people owning guns, I don't have any but I grew up in a house that did. It's the idiots owning guns that I worry about.
