What a bizarre wank Donald fest that was! But...a question.....how many of those sycophants (not just those sitting at the table) are still in the job and how many has Donald 'fired' and then described as incompetent?

Which is rather disturbing considering the massive corporate tax cut that went into dividend increases and stock buybacks. The least that should happen if you are going to put the future in debt is that the present should have a good long party.

Meh, we’ll let the trumpettes, with their vast economic knowledge of Dirty Donnie’s 7 bankruptcies, explain how this is a good thing.

Tillerson ran one of the largest corporations on the plan
What bullshit partisan spin and hyperbole, considering that ZERO people in Obama's administration were indicted in his 8 years, and trump's already has 6 people convicted.

Funny how most of those 10 ways did not get challenged in court. Talk about feeding bias but then again it's cato.

Yet Tillerson, and some unbelievably partisan and deluded posters here would like to you to believe he is undisciplined, doesn’t like to read , and tries to get people to illegal things.

Yeah, Obama had Holder and Lynch to cover for his administration. Holder was held in contempt of Congress for Fast and Furious where they sold guns to cartel members. Lynch had a secret meeting with Clinton on her plane where they talked about their "grand children". The hold overs from the Obama administration include McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr, Comey. The Obama administration blocked OIG inspectors on a regular basis for years. So much so that the head of the IG posted a letter that was signed by 47 IG's expressing that they were ham stringed by the DOJ becasue the DOJ and FBI refused to turn over documents that they were legally required to relinquish. The State Department didn't have IG oversight for years. They neglected to appoint one. Now the State Department is getting hammered for stuff that happened while Obama was president. Not so sure Obama was as clean as you want us to believe. They just covered for each other. See no evil, hear no evil.

You've just proved my point. No one was indicted simply because Obama"s administration was the most lawless in U.S modern history.Brennan, Clapper,Holder,Lynch etc....got away with the murder.

So your argument is, "the proof that the Obama administration was lawless is the fact that no-one got indicted, let alone convicted"?

Interesting. Particularly in light of the fact that Obama is no longer in any position to influence whether anyone gets charged or convicted. And leaving aside the fact that, while he was in office, he allowed the DoJ to act independently so didn't influence it in the first place.

But this is about Trump being undisciplined and wanting to do illegal things. Does anyone believe that isn't true?

Most of the people who speak out about climate science are not climatologists. But they are accurately reflecting the opinions of the overwhelming percentage of actively publishing climatologists (~98%), who accept the basic tenets of AGW. The earth is warming and humans are a significant factor.

There is less consensus amongst climate scientists when it comes to the amount of human contribution and the amount of warming we will experience over the next 50-100 years. But again, consensus exists and the majority believe that humans are contributing more than 50% and that the amount of warming will be very dangerous if it is not mitigated soon.

And I dont believe for two ****ing seconds that a man who has actively bragged about not having an education has "looked at the data."

No, but they are largely more intelligent and less racist or homophobic or sexist than the average trump voter.

You leftys are so delusional. The amount of sexists/racists/homophobes voters made up a fraction of both sides. Hillary lost because she campaigned like an idiot, end of story.

Why do you think Executives have advisors? Why do you think corporations have legal teams?

Here is a statement from the WaPo/Tillerson hit piece:

“So often, the president would say, ‘Here’s what I want to do, and here’s how I want to do it,’ " Tillerson said, according to the Houston Chronicle, “and I would have to say to him, ‘Mr. President, I understand what you want to do, but you can’t do it that way. It violates the law.’ ”
So what do you think was discussed after that?

Was the President knowingly and openly attempting to break the law?

The NDP circus is so gullible it's astonishing.

You left off the portion of the quote where Tillerson said that trump didnt like to read, that he acted on impulse, and that he didnt like to be told that he could not do an illegal act.

You forgot the end of that quote for some reason, It violates the law and violates the treaty. Why leave the end off? Rex is obviously talking about some foreign matters in which all kinds of crazy international laws are involved. Hey have fun with your simplistic minds though and call the FBI, it should be a cinch to lock him up since he's such a criminal.

I posted the quote in it's entirety from the WaPo hit piece.

Would you care to answer the two questions I asked? Why do Executives have advisors? Why do Corporations have legal teams?

It's about as common as serving coffee at a meeting for people to make suggestions that turn out to be illegal. There is no intent to break the law. That's how policy is created. Someone says let's do this, and then legal steps in and says you can't do it that way because of laws related to X and Y. The discussion continues based on that until the objective can be met while taking into account the legal means of accomplishing the goal.

This kind of thing happens all the time on the little HOA Board I serve on. Imagine how often it happens when discussing major policy issue involving international matters.

What the hit piece is feeding to it's gullible audience is the idea the President was attempting to knowingly break the law regarding some matter, and his staff had to keep him in check.

    Total BS click bait.

Got to agree that Trump is now the President of the " lost powerful nation on earth" He certainly has done a great job of diminishing our moral authority and the respect for the American Presidency.

Interesting take, considering all the Nations bending to the President in trade, etc..

Perhaps your bias is influencing your view.

He probably is... he was much more qualified than Tillerson to begin with and seems to have a better personality for the job (in that he HAS a personality)... Point??

My point is that Trumps first pick for SOS was Rex... WHY???
