Given the responses to the poll so far it is worth noting that 14% have abstained, 23% are unwilling to compromise and 64% are willing to compromise. (Note percentages are rounded up.) Perhaps the most SIGNIFICANT aspect of this preliminary result is that almost half of those who are willing to compromise self identified as Traditional Conservatives. That is excellent news because it means that we have fair minded PF members on both sides of the political aisle who are open to finding solutions that are best for America.
Nothing The wall is needed Its not a gift Or if you want to think of it as a gift what are you offering in return for welfare funding?
I'm often told that. The idea of erecting a wall puts me off. But I can't think of anything else you can do.
The wall is not needed. Simply make it so that illegals cant get jobs here. they will stop coming. Fix the problem. Dont put a bandaid on it.
Hopefully not but its up to libs to decide The longer bitter clinger deplorables resist global socialism ruled by un whites the more impatient liberals become And if so they might turn to violence
And you said absolutely nothing that addresses my post. Hold EMPLOYERS accountable for hiring illegals in a way that is incredibly painful for them, and they will stop doing so. If there is no market for jobs for illegals, they will stop coming here. Its pretty simple supply and demand.
You are focusing on the wrong thing. I am not the topic of the thread. Are you one of the 5 who voted for NO compromise? I was not.
It's why tRUMP and supporters are really serious about illegal immigrants. They don't want to address the root of the problem.
We are trying to but withot much cooperstion from congress We should build the wall and instsll electronic monitoring along the 1200 miles not covered by the wall Then make sure we have enough Border Patrol agensts and military there to pick up ever alien intruder Then repeal the central America refugee asslyum loophole Then outlaw santuary cities and deport every illegal alien we find At the same time impliment better tracking of visa overstays Then or also work on improving the e-verify system There is much to do that liberal swamp rats in washington are unwilling to do
We can and shood hold employers and illegal alien employees acountable Employers who knowingly hire illegals should be punished While the illegal and their entire family should be deported immediately Bit if its as easy to solve the problem as you claim then libs should have done that while obama was president You didnt so now its our turn
Just calling it wasteful spending does not make it so Besides if big government libs cared about wasteful spending the federal budget would be around half the size it is now
But...your comments are centered around a basic fallacy. If we toss those who disagree with us into a single large group, we're expressing the assumption that all those who have different ideas think and behave uniformly. As one of those "liberals" you mention, I can tell you that no, that's not how I think.
With all of the correct answers to the questions already "in hand" I don't think anyone believes that. It is common knowledge that the south-west states are saturated with illegal Mexican workers and always has been. Law has nothing to do with it as long as farmers can hire unskilled labour for low wages.
You know the R's have had all 3 branches for 2 yrs? And you know, the fed budget increased under them. So tRUMP and congress are big gov't libs. Yet, you vote for them.
Two of three Roberts is a scab But I am only slightly less critical of the repubs in congress as I am the dems
Only some of that is really needed though. I choose NOT to spend the estimated 40 billion the wall will cost over time. And whats this loophole you speak of? A quick search didnt really turn anything up. My guess is it goes something like this. "Can people from central america apply for asylum? Yes? Thats a loophole......." The ONLY things that need be done. improve electronic monitoring. - We agree there. Better tracking of visa overstays. Agreed. improve E-Verify, AND PUNISH COMPANIES WHO EMPLOY ILLEGALS. - Agreed. If we do these three things, it would be more than adequate.
Yet you're for big gov't spending on a mostly useless wall. When enforcing laws already in place about employers hiring illegals would be the best result to illegal immigration. So how you are for reduced spending?
