Yours is very very expensive. No state in the US has ever even tried it

It may be expensive but if the alternative is letting people die at the hands of violent felons then I'm all for it.

    What is your plan?

I agree with you. It works.
I disagree with you. I don't want to implement it.
Execution is a great deterrent to crime.

If they show no sign of rehabilitation, yes.

Rehabilitation is a ongoing process. It's not just one test.

No one on the planet can say someone is rehabilitated when they get out of prison

Except that in many cases we have no way of locking someone up prior to being a danger. We don't always know who is going to be a danger to society until they actually become a danger to society. We can't lock someone up who we think might be a danger, right? Bottom line is there will always be dangerous people. No amount of gun control will ever stop dangerous people

Except it does. Harm reduction not harm elimination

And which new gun laws will reduce gun deaths committed by the criminals that aren't affected by gun laws since they don't get obey them anyway? Let's be honest, gun laws really only affect lawful citizens...the ones who aren't committing most of the gun murders. And for those few people who were lawful citizens up until they snapped and killed, there is no law that would have prevented them from owning a gun because these previously lawful citizens would have passed a background check.

The best solution is for violent felons to be shot down in the act by armed citizens.

Which is why law abiding citizens should be armed. If we can't guarantee that every person walking out of prison will not commit the same offense again, then the public should have a means to defend themselves.

Perhaps you could name a country with low gun deaths and lax gun laws. Face it....the way to reduce gun deaths is gun control

No, the best solution is for violent felons to be shot down in the act by armed citizens. Are you free to do that?
    Not in most circumstances.

That's actually a very cost effective solution and greatly reduces recidivism as it also has a prophylactic effect on other violent felons considering committing a crime.

The thought of a quick death versus a plea bargain can be a detriment to crime.
