Some posters are dumber than rocks so it is a waste of time interacting with them. They have access to the full video showing what happened and they still want to believe the lie that the lying reporters and Phillips told. Phillips did confess when the truth came out but they like the lie better because it fits into their agenda. They would make good members of a lynch mob.

I think it's reasonable to acknowledge what we can see with our own eyes, but it's fair to say there was very little of it and most students expressed no racism or even hostility. In short, the kids acted like kids, not hostile bigots ganging up on minorities.

I went and did some research. As it turns out, there is no agreed upon fixed date for when discrimination against "white" people became legal and institutionalized.

It's probably an extreme view to propose The Civil Rights Act of 1964 as the actual beginning of discrimination against "whites", but that is when the idea of "affirmative action" first appeared in law.

At that time, however, it was only to be used as a remedy against those found in violation of the act.

As the idea became more entrenched, we gradually arrived where we are today. It is now accepted that "white" males are to be placed at the bottom of any pecking order.

I don’t know. I don’t think standing in front of someone and looking at them alone is considered racist. The student didn’t approach the elder. The elder approached the student and drummed directly in front of him did several minutes. That shows quite a significant level of restraint.

Too much uncollaborated evidence coming from all sides to know who’s in the fault, of anybody. Was there a group of African American men mocking the students before the video was shot? I don’t know, but from Phillip’s story, that seems to be the case.

I think the students are being unfairly targeted in a situation in which the Internet has allowed misinformed individuals to post comments before the full story has emerged, leading to vast amounts of misinformation to be spread around quickly.

 

Fair enough, but the point is to challenge them. It would be a huge step for some folks to admit, to themselves at least, that some leftwing protests are an attempt to provoke otherwise peaceful people.

You need to get caught up on what actually happened, maybe you have by the time I've posted this. The only bigotry displayed was by the middle aged Indians and young adult Black Hebrew Israelites. The MAGA kids displayed exactly -0- bigotry in dozens of videos and angles on this.

As a long time high school teacher, I'm upset with the educators who put those kids in a situation where they should have been given the skills to deal with being provoked. When you put kids out front for causes you support without street proofing them, you're exploiting them and violating the trust their parents put in you.

 

FAKE NEWS BY LEFTISTS..... AGAIN!

1. The kids approached and surrounded the native man - TRUTH: He walked between all of them
2. The natives in the story were completely innocent actors - TRUTH: A native man walking with the elder was throwing racial abuse at the high school students.
3. The black Israelite element was ignored or de-emphasized in the initial report. In some reports the kids were actually in the wrong and were the ones harassing the black Israelite's - TRUTH: The high school kids had full-grown adults shouting racial abuse at them for 30 minutes before the event in the video unfolded. The kids tried to defend their classmates from homophobic and racial slurs by drowning out the language with their school chant
4. The kids trapped and threatened the native elder - TRUTH: The elder voluntarily positioned himself between them. The kids made no attempts to trap him. He was free to leave at any time.
5. The kids were yelling racial abuse and chanting "build that wall" TRUTH: No evidence of this despite the full video being released as well as numerous other videos of the incident.
6. The smiling kid approached and mocked the native Truth: The smiling kid was standing in the same spot the whole time and the native approached him, invaded his personal body space, and banged a drum in his face. He smiled awkwardly at the situation.
7. The kids had no legitimate reason to be there Truth: They were waiting for their bus after a school trip.
