Well, not to argue the finer points of this, but when you have multiple people making very similar accusations, you could say their accusations somewhat support each other. https://qz.com/1147348/these-nine-women-have-accused-roy-moore-of-sexual-misconduct/ https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/26/us/politics/brett-kavanaugh-accusers-women.html I think you mean uncorroborated accusations... and I won't disagree with that... there was no actual evidence produced against either one (that I recall)
So racisim is bad until it presents a problem for political goals. Looks like the Democrats haven changed since the 1950's and 60's.
You had uncorroborated stories. Here with the governor you have physical evidence. The third guy an admittance. And the LT. Gov a he said she said which according to the Democrats is guilty. ]
Not at all just pointing out the fallacy of your assertion. One of the editors said his story is full of holes, the pictures were submitted by the person and closely guarded and properly used.
I think is time running short. I talked to a couple hotel owners down here in Virginia Beach and they have grave concerns that if he doesn't resign and the Attorney General don't resign that it may have a major effect on the Africana 2019 Greek-fest in Aug. (Black fraternity and black sororities) that the they hold every year. We had riots here in 1989 and it wasn't pretty. We also have a number of jazz festivals, Umoja fest and Latino and Cajun fests in the area all thru out the year. With sensitivities being very raw at present it wouldn't take much to spark trouble. I was a DJ all through the 80's and early 90's. I did weddings, clubs, private parties, and conventions. In all those years I did Halloween parties every year and I can say that I never seen anyone show up in black-face and definitely not with a KKK outfit. I can remember every outfit I wore. I guess Northam has convienient memory loss.
The yearbook is physical evidence, but against whom? Who intimated the black face guy is Northam? Not Northam..... Who is making that claim??
Interesting - I hadn't thought about any of that until you brought it up. One has to be about as clueless as Ralph Northam not to realize that his and Herring's continued presence in office is an affront to Blacks, and rightly so. If they're not gone by Greekfest we could see a reoccurrence of the violence in 1989. To reinforce the point, Al Sharpton was on MSNBC this morning and he essentially said that if the Gov and AG want to be forgiven by the Black community the first step in that process is resigning from office. I presume he's going to reiterate that point while he's at Virginia Union University in Richmond today.
"I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now" Governor Ralph Coonman Kluckerface (D-VA)
He Knew? Staffer Who Worked On Northam Yearbook Says Photos Were Personally Submitted Dr. William Elwood worked with others on the layout for Eastern Virginia Medical School's 1984 yearbook-- the same yearbook that featured a photo of a person in blackface and another person in a Ku Klux Klan outfit on Ralph Northam's personal page. Elwood said photos for personal pages "were chosen by the individual student." "They were submitted in a sealed envelope with their name on it to the yearbook staff, to be put on their page," Elwood told CNN. "The pictures for the personal ones were not just chosen at random from other pictures that might have been available at that time."......snip~ https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattv...os-were-submitted-in-sealed-envelope-n2540885 Looks like Northam wasn't being truthful. Imagine that.
WaPo Turns on Northam: 'He Must Go' The Washington Post editorial board is calling on embattled Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam to resign over the way he’s handled the controversy surrounding a racist photo on his medical school yearbook page. While acknowledging the scandals currently surrounding Democratic Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax and Attorney General Mark R. Herring, the board said those cases must be judged separately on their “own set of circumstances.” “In the case of Mr. Northam, the circumstances are decisive; what’s done cannot be undone,” the board argued. “He must go.”.....snip~ https://townhall.com/tipsheet/leahb...ns-on-northam-calls-on-him-to-resign-n2540967 Uh oh.....he is toast now. WAPO has spoken. WAPO always tells the Demos what they must do. Demos must listen or else.
Watch for Virginia Democrats to come out with something, anything, on some Virginia Republican as a distraction. It won’t matter if there’s anything to it or not, expect the press to treat it as gospel. This Virginia stuff is killing them, and they’ll do whatever it takes to change the subject. https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/321049/
Yeah, keep submitting the same information, albeit in slightly different format. At least Stuart Wolfe back in post 95 submitted Elwood's admission that it wasn't impossible for a mistake to happen somewhere in the process. I don't want to believe in conspiracy theories without proof, but it honestly sounds like a prank gone horribly wrong to me... Northam says he submitted the other 3 pictures, but not this one... I fully believe that even back in 1984, NOBODY would submit that picture to appear in an official yearbook page (well, maybe Steve King, but I digress). Even to be a doctor, much less a future politician.... 1984... not 1954.... We aren't talking about murder evidence and a chain of custody here.... It's an envelope of pictures... that offending picture could have been introduced in several places during the process...
Joan Naidorf, whose husband’s yearbook page sits opposite Northam’s in the yearbook, said she was surprised the photos are only now just coming out, given Northam’s stature in Virginia politics. “We’ve often wondered over the last 10 years or so why someone didn’t dig this up sooner,” said Joan Naidorf, a non-practicing emergency room physician who lives in Alexandria. Like other schools, Eastern Virginia Medical School allowed students to pick their own photos for their yearbook page, Naidorf said. Her husband chose their engagement photo and some other personal pictures. Another student chose a picture of men also in blackface and dressed as woman in what appears to be a variety show routine......snip~ https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...s-own-pictures-in-blackface-for-the-yearbook/ Elwood said it's possible someone other than Northam submitted the disturbing photo, but it seems unlikely. "Anything is possible, but the probability is low unless someone was out to get him and was able to get access to all this stuff," he said. "All of this stuff was kept in a locked room, and the only time the room was unlocked was when somebody was in that room working on the yearbook.".....snip~ https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattv...os-were-submitted-in-sealed-envelope-n2540885 Hmmmm just because you are holding on some far reaching hope. Doesn't mean Reality will run away.
Indeed. Guess who's coming to Richmond today? I wonder if Punxsutawney Coonman will crawl out of his hole in the Governor's Mansion today. We're all dying to find out what he'll see. Six more weeks as governor or an early resignation?
Oh noes.....not the race baiting, race card playing racist of them all. Not MSDNC's racist Al Sharpton. He is either there to stick a fork in Northam.....or give him the Blue House Seal of Forgiveness. Demos can't lose Virginia and with Trump cracking down on illegals. I'm going with Sharpton giving the Demos top 3 in Virginia the Blue House Seal of forgiveness. Besides the racist Sharpton needs his job on MSDNC.
Good... rev Al can tamp down most of this nonsense... Fairfax will still have to undergo a full investigation... maybe the 1 week time limit O'Kavanaugh got??
The Right Reverend Al was on MSNPC this morning and he said Gov. Punxsutawney Coonman and AG Kluckerface have to resign if they want to receive the Seal of Forgiveness. As for Lt. Governor Fairfax, Sharpton said the Left shouldn't play by its own Alinsky rules or live up to its own standards - we can't just believe the woman and the accused is entitled to the presumption of innocence and due process - so the hypocrites on the Left won't subject him to the Kavanaugh Treatment. That means LtGov gets a pass but not Punxsutawney Coonman and Kluckerface. Whether or not race has anything to do with Al's decision is something people will have to decide for themselves. Either way, I agree with Sharpton's position. Coonman and Kluckerface have to go, and we'll see how things work out with Fairfax's assault allegations. I do know the girlies on MSNPC weren't too happy with his "**** that bitch" remark about Dr. Tyson… AWWKWAAARD!!
Unless Punxsutawney Coonman and AG Kluckerface resign Reverend Al's just going to be throwing more logs into the DPV dumpster fire. It's probably no coincidence that he's appearing at VUU, a historically Black school. As for Fairfax, Dr. Tyson strikes me as a credible witness but the burden of proof is on her and I think the evidence ship sailed in 2004 when she should have gone to the police. At this point I don't know how she can make her accusation stick. HOWEVER…the #BelieveAllWomen/Men Are Guilty Until Proven Innocent/No Due Process/We Don't Need Any Evidence Crowd doesn't care about those things. Fortunately for Fairfax they tend to vote Democrat, but now he has a cloud of suspicion hanging over his head that will never go away and he didn't do himself any favors with that "**** that bitch" remark. The girls who were discussing this on MSDNC's Morning Joe earlier today were clearly bothered by that. As for investigations, who's going to lead that - Attorney General Kluckerface? Now there's an amusing thought. As was the case with BK, law enforcement has nothing more than unsubstantiated allegations to pursue. Unless Dr. Tyson can produce documentary evidence of an assault there's nothing but conflicting stories for them to investigate. I figure they can conduct such an investigation in well under a week.
You seem angry.... tough day?? You do know putting on makeup to imitate black music stars 35+ years ago doesn't automatically make one a member of the KKK?? Myself, I'd rather have that than somebody wondering how saying White Nationalism and White Supremacy became offensive, but to each their own..
