I don't really care one way or another about wall. I think both sides have pros and cons about it. The only thing I've been adamant about is that both republicans and democrats were being completely and utterly stupid tying up the federal budget and shutting down the government over this issue. Get the government going - deal with the wall separately.

They have now managed to do it, which is great.

I swear if dems and republics didn't spend all this time saying no because the other guy says yes, the country would be so much better off. Oh well. At least the museums and national parks are open again for tourists like me...

Instead of telling me to take a civics course repeatedly, how about focusing on the question I asked and attempting to answer it? I didnt ask about whether he could get legislation passed. Nothings changed. He couldnt then and he cant now. So what's changed? Why is it now such a massive crisis when it wasnt before the midterms?
